I can understand this ambivalence about whether CBDC's are good or not. On the one hand, they are technically cryptocurrencies - on the other hand, their being centralised understandably doesn't appeal to most crypto enthusiasts.

It is very difficult to choose one altcoin, since there are a huge number of different top altcoins in which I have invested and will invest, and so most likely I would choose between ethereum and bnb, since for me these are the best altcoins and the most profitable, yes and investing for the long term in such top altcoins is always very profitable.

I agree, these are good ones to invest in. They have proven to be profitable and aren't as volatile as some smaller coins.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trading without experience and knowledge
« on: March 09, 2022, 09:52:06 PM »
Still, if they have now experienced and knowledge, they also profit from trading through signals; some experienced people are selling signals for crypto trading. Hence, those who have no experience in the market can buy altcoin signals and can buy upon their signals and trade with their advice.

I think this is pretty risky, it is best to be knowledgeable even if you trade with signals and such. It is difficult to find trustworthy sources.

The only thing that in my head when talking about the best coin to invest is: BITCOIN
This is the first one.
And then, you can get some alternative coins such as ETH and BNB.
But if you are expecting for the new coins, I am not sure because they are too risky and not guaranteed to be a good investment. Better to stay away

I think these are good coins to hold and they also help to balance out a crypto portfolio - so if someone does invest in newer coins, holding some top cryptos can help reduce overall risks.

General Discussion / Re: Formal education. Overrated?
« on: March 09, 2022, 09:46:30 PM »
In my opinion formal higher education can be a great and useful thing, but I do sometimes feel like it is overrated in that so many parents pressure their kids to go to university even if they don't want to or aren't sure about what field they want to work in. Depending on a person's goals and the kind of work they want to do / are good at, a diploma is often not necessary, and some people only realize what they really want to study a little later in life.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Do not Invest while market is UP
« on: March 09, 2022, 09:42:40 PM »
Not buying when the market is up is quite common sense. But it's also understandable that sometimes we miss the best opportunities for buying in and can still make profits when buying at a higher price that is bound to climb further. I think a more common mistake people make is selling low, starting to panic-sell even after the price went under the price they originally bought a crypto at.

So far people who predicted a bearish season seem to be right. 2021 was a great year for cryptos and at this moment it is hard to imagine that 2022 could outperform that rate of growth. But overall I'm optimistic, this bearish/stagnant period surely won't last forever.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will Bitcoin replace Gold someday?
« on: March 02, 2022, 08:13:35 PM »
I think for Bitcoin to truly replace gold it would have to become less volatile. Even though it has established itself as a prestigious and trustworthy cryptocurrency, it is still considered a high-risk asset as opposed to gold. It is a great store of value, though, and in the future I can imagine it will have a similar role.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is a Bitcoin crash inevitable?
« on: March 02, 2022, 08:10:45 PM »
Bicoin remains the top choice even though its price has been dumped down to an estimated 70% and this is pretty solid evidence that Bitcoin is the digital asset that everyone in the entire cryptocurrency market wants.
There is no need to hesitate anymore if we buy Bitcoin at a price that was red because it only took a few days for Bitcoin to turn green and rise quickly.

I think It's good time when dip.
As you said Bitcoin to turn green and rise quickly.
That's true, I have gotten profit buy the dip and set target, but not much.
Bitcoin is still strong at bearish season, So we still can do trading or short term investment.
Hopefully you'll luck too.

I agree, for people who trust Bitcoin's long-term success (such as myself) it is a good time to buy since it's not likely that it will dip much lower, at least not permanently. In the meantime, trading is still a great option to take advantage of short-term fluctuations.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin To Soon Cross the $100K Border
« on: March 02, 2022, 08:02:27 PM »
It's tough to make any shorter-term predictions right now. Sentiments were very bullish towards the end of the year but Bitcoin has been alternating between bearish and stagnant ever since. To me it seems like this trend will continue for a while longer - how long, I don't really know.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Getting Rid of Fiat Money
« on: March 02, 2022, 07:56:43 PM »
In the very distant future I can imagine digital money replacing fiat money, but I think that the more likely scenario is the creation of CBDC's rather than the acceptance of current cryptocurrencies. This is just my personal opinion, though.

Bitcoin is definitely the leader of cryptocurrencies but I doubt it could be the leader of currencies in general. Part of the reason I think so is that Bitcoin does come with a limited supply as opposed to USD. Another part is that, though Bitcoin is gaining traction and a lot of people believe in it, mainstream acceptance is a difficult topic - as long as regulators and central banks are as reluctant about it as they have been so far, there are many obstacles in the way.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Teaching about btc to my class.

I think it is great that you got the opportunity to do this! It is worth spreading knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies so that as many people as possible have information about it so that they can make their own decisions. It must be tough to explain it to people who have never heard about it, though.

Years ago I started working for a company in the finance sector and found myself learning a lot about different markets and ended up dabbling in them in my free time as well. It all went forward from there. I don't know what the future will bring.

Trading (Not crypto) / Re: Forex going bad for next year?
« on: February 22, 2022, 03:47:45 PM »
What do you mean by "going bad"? Dichotomous terms like this are usually not adequate for describing the state of a market. Changes such as increased volatility or a general slump in the world's economy can alter the trading environment and may take some adapting to. But as long as you are willing to adapt, forex won't be "bad".
