Do you choose to hold Bitcoin or Ethereum?

BTC is more preferable than Ethereum because of its supply and public demands but if we check historical data then BTC is little behind than Ethereum in turns of financial gain. In this situation I wants to keep 70% of my funds on BTC and 30% on Ethereum and that's not a small number. Both are top and super hyped project.

Both are good, and both deserve to be chosen. Bitcoin still has a higher potential for improvement when compared to Ethereum, Ethereum has many competitors such as BNB and Solana. If I prefer to divide each 50% of the investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Good decision to divide your investment in bitcoin and Ethereum.
It's better than just invest in one coin.
But I think solana , BNB ,polygon matic are also good coin.
If you have fund to invest, better to split on several of those.
I have invested in bitcoin and Ethereum since 2015 , And got many profit from both.
So it's difficult to choose one of both.

Just like you I also prefer Bitcoin over Ethereum, even though both are really good and both have the potential to increase the price. 
However, my prediction is that after the halving the price of Bitcoin will increase much higher, that's why I prefer Bitcoin.

Taking in consideration that after the merge of ETH 2.0 it will be more deflationary as the supply gets burned and the proof of stake will guarantee a nice floor for ETH. So definetely on the long run we can see a price increase as eth has got more usecase than BTC. And I also rekon one day the dominance will be flipped by ETH. Now I prefer to hold ethereum, not bitcoins. First of all, because the long-awaited Ethereum 2.0 update will end soon and finally this coin will receive a new quality and better functionality. Given the former popularity of this coin, it should rise well, including in price.
Also, I do not think that bitcoin will continue to grow in price at the same pace. Its current high price is already affecting, and therefore investors are in no hurry to invest very large sums of money in it. The ethereum coin has more growth prospects in this regard.

what you say is very true and certainly very good advice. there is only a very crucial issue if we intend to make bitcoin an investment. the current price is high enough so we must have a lot of funds for us to use for investment and it must also be remembered that investing in bitcoin is a long-term investment. it is clear that the risk of existing funds will be held there long enough even though we clearly know the risks that exist in accordance with the results that will be received later.

bitcoin is definitely something that we must be able to use as an attractive investment, because bitcoin is a coin that has an impact on other coins. so the existence of bitcoin is unquestionable and will continue to be highly reliable.

For how many years it has been on top 5 i will always hold. It does not play the part to be on top ,it plays part to be always affordable.

When the price of Ethereum in 2019 reached $98 usd, that's when I started buying Ethereum for the long term and yes, I still keep it to this day, the amount of supply that continues to burn because of ethereum 2.0 makes me prefer Erhereum because the price is still under $5k usd , I will regret not holding ETH if in the future its price can reach $10k to $20k, all of which can happen because the Ethereum ecosystem is powered by many new projects and it will continue to increase the price of the coin
