Bitcoin is broken

Not mine, found this comment online, and would like to hear your thoughts :

230 million tether have accounted for the last $3000 of the bitcoin price. That's about $40 billion of total market cap, created from absolutely nowhere. This money isn't real. There are no legitimate institutions buying bitcoin. Bitfinex has been "hacked" 3 times now. Why isn't anyone asking why bitcoin forked 4 times in the past 2 weeks. There are essentially 105 million bitcoins now. And who is benefitting the most? People with 1000s of Bitcoins having "free money" falling from the heavens. But somehow that makes sense to you?
