In my area, street foods are popular businesses that offer various types of food. This particular setup is commonly known as a night market, which operates from evening till midnight. Numerous stores are situated along an entire street with a lot of foot traffic, and businesses in the area include street food vendors, coffee stalls, food booths that serve rice meals, and many others.

This kind of setup is not unique to my area but can be found in other parts of the country as well. Many teenagers and adults enjoy spending their evenings with friends, eating out, or having coffee.

Yeah same here mate as we cane from the same country if I am not mistaken. Night markets are booming nationwide and some business minded people grab this opportunity as we all know we've been trapped inside our houses 2-3 years ago because of pandemic and yeah it is now on trend. Though I am a bit frugal guy because I am preparing for something that is why I can't support local vendors I prefer eating healthy and free foods at home than spending money outside. 😅 But all I can say is that food business is great.

1: selling of cold bottles or sachets of water: In my country, it's usually very hot during the dry season, so if you engage in this business during that period, you will make a lot of profit. So, if you are in a country that experiences a very hot season, you can make use of the opportunity to enter into such a temporary business.

2: mini grocery shop: every day of our lives, we spend on a few things at the grocery shop, so if you are doing a grocery business in a good location, you will definitely be selling more often and making a profit.

3: food business: Every day of our lives, we eat. That's to tell you that there is usually high demand for food items, so if you are actually doing a food business, you will definitely sell and make a profit.

All business can be profitable depending on the foundation of your business, and also the level of how committed you are to your business.
Before opening a business you'll do some marketing surveying first to know the basic needs and wants of the people in the particular environment you want to do the business. Taking for instance you can't go and sell dried fish in a primary school and expert your business to grow, because in that particular environment the kids in the school don't need them  at school, rather you can sell snacks for them, because definitely some will come to school with money for lunch during breake period.
So before doing business you have to have ideas and experiences about it to make sure that your business do not collapse or go bankruptcy.

Yeah pandemic really hurt these businesses and here in my place suffer a devatating loss when a supetyphoon hit us that is why it gives these businesses delay to get back up again since we are heavily damaged financially due to overspending on repairs. But some of them are operating normally right now but few of them don't have the guts to re-establish their stalls especially those who are heavily affected and did not anticipate the disaster.

Food stalls here in my area is quiet decreasing based on my observation and comparison before the pandemic. I don't know if the people themselves lose their interests or afraid of what had happen before or what but it is what it is.

You are right. Every business is profitable. It is a function of the person managing the business. We have good business managers and bad managers. Good business managers are experts and creative in handling business so they can make the business grow and generate profit whereas a bad manager will keep complaining about the downfall of the business without trying to map out a strategy that can make the business generate profit.

Sometimes, some business owners don't carry out feasibility studies before starting a business and then keep complaining afterward. Every good business must start with a feasibility study. This can tell how viable a particular business is for its targeted audience.
