Does it mean that WallStreetBets become a sponsor in Coin Market Cap? Or what? Because it is so funny if it becomes rank 0. And is this a coin or token or a community?

That's just a joke and also to remind many people that there is no WallStreeBets (WSB) coin, as you know, usually many scammers will appear when there is a HYPE,
even when CMC made jokes about the Toilet Paper Token there was a scam project trying to make one too.
So always be careful and don't be taken seriously )).

That's a very classical joke, hopefully people will get the joke and not fall for any fake wallstreetbet coin or token. Cryptocurrency is making a huge wave thus it will definitely attract both positive and negative attention.

WSB is a popular keyword at the moment, Coinmarketcap's listing of WSB is just one way to promote their website. Along with airdrops for potential DeFi projects, this is also a way for Coinmarketcap to be different and compete with competitors like CoinGecko

I am really surprised to see WallStreetBets in first place = Top 0 on Coinmarketcap, above Bitcoin.

I don't understand what the Coinmarketcap managers aim for when they make such a decision, it seems that they are trying to make something of a difference following social trends. My friends thought that WallStreetBets might have paid Coinmarketcap a huge amount of money for that position.

In the future, can a project, for example Ripple, pay more for a Top (-1) position on Coinmarketcap?

This whole thing has been done for money. They do a lot for the money. There is no basis for some of the tokens listed here. But even then they are listing. .I think they should refrain from all these activities. I don't think there is any need to tarnish one's own image because of money.
