I'm still a beginner in Crypto trading Hehe.. So I'm not too brave to choose a new coin that I'm not very familiar with. 
I prefer the coins that rank above CMC, And my current picks are BNB, Solana, Avax, BTC and Doge !

I agree with your coins, BNB, Solana, AVax , BTC.
But I don't like dogecoin. It's just me coins, didn't have good project.
Better to buy and hold the coins that have real project, such as platform.
BNB, ETH, Solana, Polkadot, Polygon matic, and Cardano.
Those are my favourite coins for hold.
I believe those will have great future.

But by seeing the market condition now, I don't trade , market seems struggle..Maybe I will do trade again at the next week
For now I just buy and hold.

All of those project are metaverse related which is a good one because its could be a trend very soon. I could be wrong but web 3 and green energy related token also having a good chance to be the next trend in crypto space because we already saw metaverse project trending crypto space. But all of those project mentioned in OP are top one.

The hype of play to earn concept is fading away. But because AXS already made a great position on the market so it will be run away with investor's money. But very soon games like COD, PUBG, and Total war will take place of these classic types of games. These are easy to build that's why most of the P2E concepts is based on these which is no fun at all.

I believe IOEN is the long-run project. Developers are working for better world and I think it'll pay back massive to IOEN! Climate is going to be a huge problem for all and I hope IOEN would solve it.

Investing is complex thing. Everyone has different financial situations and responsibilities tbh and I believe there are no correct answer for your question,pal. I like to invest on metaverse projects but some doesn't.
