It isn't actually possible to be 100% with anything. I mean anything. We cannot even be 100% sure we will wake up tomorrow. Everything I based on odds. It is like an odds game. Much like the way the system for the game dungeons and dragons works. If we arm ourselves with knowledge we can reduce the risk and increase our odds of success and decrease the odds of failure. It is not too difficult to spot a scam or potential scam. You need to instead think of finding out if the project is worth it instead of trying to figure out if it is a scam. If the project makes sense and there is an activity that is a good thing. If the project has little to no activity then that is bad, the project doesn't need to be a scam in order for you to lose your money so try not thinking that way.

The best advice possible is to do what I just said about checking out the project. Then using your own common sense and asking yourself if it was your project how would you feel about it. Is it too good to be true? Does it make sense? I think that most times people fool themselves into believing in a project. Honestly, people are very stupid with their money and deserve to lose it. I know it sounds harsh but really sometimes you see a project and ask yourself what sort of person falls for it. Yet people still fall for nigerian price scams. -_-

we agree that the crypto market has the ability to give fantastic returns but finally, all businesses are subject to the same market forces. If an ICO promises unrealistic returns on investments, like Our coin gives you 500% return in x months!” you had better watch out.

There is no way to avoid 100% scam ICOs, no way but not to invest on any ICOs :) Reputable persons are behind the biggest scams, states do even bigger scams, they scam whole population daily, so if there is nice MVP - dont trust on it, it may be bought with a few hundred dollars from freelancers, if there is well known advisor... maybe hes not even aware of the whole project or aome pr agency sold just name with their marketing agreement... list goes on!

At this time it has become very difficult to find a good ICO project.
scammers disguise their projects very well and over time they improve their skills
This can lead people to stop investing their money.

Yeah, we must be careful to detect scam ICO.
It's not easy. Learning white paper, roadmap and always follow their account team in social media.

looks like what you said would be the basis for us to be able to know something that is a scam or not, but now they are smarter and know the weakness and fix it in such a way that it can't be recognized. every time there will always be changes to cheat, and these changes are always updated and sometimes many can't tell the difference anymore.

To entice attention, crypto scammers regularly use the “secret bugs” trick. On social networks, scammers regularly “share information” about an allegedly inaccurate exchange rate or, vice versa, something a success and unique. Both are losses of money. Don’t get fooled with the aid of using such hints and crypto scams. In addition, guarantees of inflated profitability also are amongst the harmful elements that indicate a possible crypto scam.
