I agree that Europe should have responded more severely to Russia's illegal actions in the international arena, including on a civilian plane shot down by Russian military from Ukraine. Now the Netherlands is conducting an additional investigation with regard to Ukraine why it did not then close its skies over its territory. For the invading Russian military, whose task was to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, it would not matter whether the Ukrainian authorities closed the sky at that time or not.
