You can do both. If someone has a lot of violations, it can be easier to share it in this topic to explain everything not to report dozens of posts. If there is just a single post you can report it or share here as well. As you wish. Moderators will see it in both cases.

Yes, as a Sheriff, I prefer the fact that every topic and post from a tagged spammer goes through my fingers for approval, ensuring that their rubbish is tossed into the trash Can before it sees daylight.

As Joker pointed out, a user with a few trash posts can be managed by the moderators, however someone with a clear spamming habit can be reported here for the maximum penalty (Spammers' tag) from the admin and president.

The two cabrons I reported left me a shit of posts to clean.

I want to ask if AI-generated posts can be considered spam. In which category should it be reported? I guess we need to report in a thread because sometimes we have to submit proof that the content is generated using AI. I can report a post using the report to moderator button. But, explaining it in a thread and submitting some supporting documents will help moderators further to decide what to do with that post. If you think this thread is good to report AI spams, then I will start posting them here.

Yeah. That is what he started doing in Bangla board. I haven't checked his post history and his other posts on our local board. But I have noticed this thread randomly. If they have already had two warnings, what is the next step? I don't know if you guys want to give them a temp ban for these repeat offenses or not. But, I guess it would be a good idea to ban them for a week. A lot of these forum members does not even know what they got the warning. Even it is possible that they did not know that they received some warnings!

He was last active on February 28, 2024, his last post was on February 10, 2024, so I'm not sure he will see that he lost an ability of posting.

Anyway, there's no temporary ban option here (only premoderation (temporary or permanent) in some cases). I can ban from posting on a permanent basis, but I don't do so in such cases. Other penalties can be imposed by other moderators. Let's see what decision they make.

Thank you very much. I have reported the post already, and I hope Jisan will handle it as soon as possible. These users are doing something that is not allowed. It's not like they don't know that it's not allowed. Whenever we report against them, they say that they were unaware of these rules. But the truth is, they about it very well. Yet, they decided to spam because it is easier to generate content with AI.

Usually, I do not look for spam or plagiarism. I report them only when I find something randomly except local board spam. I always like to participate in local boards and want to contribute my knowledge and experience. But, some people are too lazy to write something on their own, which is why they use AI and copy-paste from other sources. These spams ruins all our efforts. I always prefer quality over quantity. We don't need people like those spammers.

Very clever move from that user, using ChatGPT to generate text and convert it to local language to make it nearly impossible to detect . All for what ? +Karma or post points? If you do not have knowledge of something Stealing it from online makes it look more stupid.
