"Karma" not properly used or misused

The number of karma giving by members are very low here. Most of the time good post never get any karma. For this lots of people get discouraged.  I also see that many people getting karma by their friends without having any good topic or post.Also many stupid post by high rank members but they don't get any negative karma.I think Admin must be careful about it or the forum will loose it's popularity.

I believe that it is used well. Looking for the people who have the karma are those deserving person's that must recieve it.

It's not necessarily always being misused, just that others maybe have a different outlook on what they consider to be valuable or helpful information. There will always be misuse, but don't think it's a huge issue (at least at this stage anyway). I, as far as I know, have no friends or alt accounts on the forum, but have still managed to accrue some karma, albeit at a slowish rate. Doesn't really bother me either way, as long as I don't get negative karma, but it's good to know that at least some of my posts have added value.

I know what you feel friend, I ever created the topic with similar opinion like you did. I think it needs a lot of time for good changes. Yes, I saw many good topics or replies but I guess they don't get proper appreciation. It is not about our regulation, It may be about the awareness of our members, especially for Senior ranks.

You must be careful with the statement. If you have not enough evidences, you just spread out the bad issues related our forum. And you contribute to make a bad atmosphere among people here.

Why it can reduce forum popularity? I think the popularity of altcoinstalks will be never influenced much because of the problems.

I think you should not give any karma, but I noticed too that there are good posts with original analysis made by people that have 0 karma.... personally I will pay more attention on this from now.

You've been around this forum so I can assume that you've seen a lot of post and comments here already.

Notice that those that get the most karma (or at least the ones I usually give karma) are topics that are not copied, not generic, not one or two liner answers. I wish I could give negative karma to copied topics from other forums but I believe it is not yet covered by the plagiarism rule here.

It's my mistake and i am thankful for pointing my mistake.  If we point out mistakes and give them chance to correct their mistakes then it will be much better.

I have evidences and I also complained those post and proven to Admin. But Admin can't solve this problem alone.  That's why I posted the topic though it is at wrong section.  I wasn't careful while I posted this.

You can't have a perfect community. Obviously there would be some things which would not go in someone's favour or someone would be offended. That is perfectly normal. But if you have an issue about the forum, channel it to the right source and wait for their response. It doesn't help to be spreading this kind of info around.

karma is very difficult to obtain, I personally get karma must work hard so that others can give it to me,
unfortunately there is no notification which post is given karma, if in case there might be an evaluation of where the post is good and which post is bad, so it can be a lesson for all of us.

I was surprised to see a forum related topic here on altcoin discussion board. This is an interesting topic that can be discussed further if it will not be deleted and will just be moved to the correct board.

I think the admin has his own way to give karma points, maybe you think there are people who post good and quality, but not necessarily quality according to the admin. we must always learn to post.
