"Banks will trade cryptocurrency sooner than people think", that statement not from me but from the former head of J.P. Morgan's blockchain operation says banks like her former employer could get into the cryptocurrency business imminently. "I think it's coming sooner than people probably think," says Amber Baldet, Former head of J.P. Some speculate that sooner or later banks will partner with cryptos. What do you think, guys?
-
I think that banks will do everything to increase their profits. If it is profitable for them, they will start trading.
-
I don't think this will happen in just short period of time but I am very much convinced that bank someday will use adopt crypto currency to make their service better.

Possibly that can really happen in the near future to get into the crypto business, because if they don't. They would definitely get involved in crypto space big time and we would all be shocked at how it's going to happen.
-
yes, I believe that bank will get into cryptos soon or they can use blockchain technology. Since the popularity of crypto is increasing day by day, bank will also think about its profit and benefits. Thought some government don't understand this system, but sooner they will take step. :)
Thanks

You're very optimistic, indeed. Well, I've read a paper the other day that there's a big spread of opinion across the sector, with some seeing cryptocurrencies as a possible driver of a fundamental shift in the global financial system, others disliking bitcoin, but having some faith in the blockchain technology that underlines it, and others just seeing crypto as, basically, a complete waste of time. And an analyst by the name of James Faucette suggesting that the real value of bitcoin might be worth nothing but $0. So, what can you say about it?
-
I don't think it will happen in just short period of time , but having some faith in the blockchain technology that underlines it. But when the bank will also think about its profit and benefits i think they will take a step 😊
-
Yes! Bank entrance into cryptocurrency is inevitable in my opinion, though it may take a little long. Big of fans of cryptos believe that it will happen sooner than what we think.
-
Whether banks will like it or not, that will be their future for crypto is on going to greatness despite of circumstances of government and media.
-
Banks will provide cryptocurrency and fiat exchange services without any problems. They do not risk anything here and will only take their commissions for these services. For this, banks only need an appropriate regulatory framework. It is already more difficult for banks to perform other operations with cryptocurrency, given the high volatility of prices for decentralized cryptocurrencies.
Of course, banks will not switch to using cryptocurrency instead of regular currency. At the same time, banks use the ripple network to conduct fast transactions. Basically, in this case, they are just applying blockchain technology.
Banks will soon be making widespread use of central bank stablecoins, that is, their digitized currencies.
-
I think the Bank will not change to crypto, they will only issue their respective cryptos...
Banks are a large corporation that will definitely follow technological developments to take advantage, if in the future crypto has been adopted en masse then banks will automatically follow it.
-

Banks are a large corporation that will definitely follow technological developments to take advantage, if in the future crypto has been adopted en masse then banks will automatically follow it.
Of course, banks will use blockchain technology and based on it, they will issue their digitized stablecoins of their currencies. Cryptocurrency for banks is too unpredictable both in price and in terms of who is behind it. Banks prefer to work only with currencies owned by states. Therefore, banks will provide certain services in cryptocurrency, but no more.

From pendamic situation banks also thinking about crypto as a result US bank and swiss bank making custody of BTC to their banking system. I think as two big bank accepting BTC other banks will also think about this. So we can hope soon we will see many banks making transaction BTC or other crypto coins.
thanks.
-
I think they will adopt the same technology that responsible for the cryptocurrency development, which is the Blockchain and they can make their digital asset which is back by fiat and that has already happened in my country a large commercial Bank already used Blockchain to make its own Stablecoin back by our local fiat currency.
-
If I'm not mistaken, some banks have either issued or want to issue their cryptocurrencies, and in general, many banks have already started using cryptocurrency technologies and soon all banks will use cryptocurrency technologies.
-
This post is like 2 years old but we have not seen banks jumping into crypto yet and does not seem that they are entering anytime soon. But i do think that if banks start to offer crypto buy, sell, store and exchange services and with a traditional bank account also offer a crypto wallet, we will see rapid mass adoption of crypto coins.
-
It seems that this prediction has come true, banks have approached Ripple, central banks consider CBDCs, large companies like PayPal & Visa are also researching stable coins to serve customers...
The crypto revolution is unstoppable!
-
In Brazil we already have some crypto banks, but the old banks will never go into crypto, they don't like it at all and are losing money because of it.
-
One day it is very possible that banks will implement crypto technology. Especially if this crypto has become legal. Of course, it will be possible for the technology to be used by many projects including banks. Because I think it's actually similar to crypto technology with existing banks.
-
Payments are the first and foremost use case of any banking and/or financial system. When it comes to blockchain finance, both central and commercial banks all over the world are now tapping into this new technology in terms of payment processing and potential issuing of their own digital currencies.
-
Possibly in the near future to get into the crypto business, because if they do not. They will definitely join the crypto space in the big time and we will all be amazed that this is going to happen.
-
In the meantime, if we look at the cryptocurrency market, we will see that most of the cryptocurrencies are being traded with banks. There will be transactions in the future as well. Most countries in the world have approved cryptocurrencies. Has been able to transact them with the bank. So I think cryptocurrency is going to be one of the currencies in the world. Bitcoin is one of the most widely used cryptocurrencies.
-
Definitely with in short of time banks will starts to using crypto currency. As far i know economists and the others financial advisor are trying to how to adopt it to bank and how can it control by the bank system. It will be announce soon that cryptos are using in bank.
-
Banks are already into cryptocurrency but in a different way. Some are using dapps that are operating in some known Blockchains. But soon, they would trade cryptocurrencies. That I am sure
-
YES, somehow because virtually all the activities that are been done through bank are evicted with crypto due easy access of such facility by end users.
-
Yes brother you are right because cryptocurrency friendly countries central banks already accepted cryptocurrency as their transaction system. Singapore, Malaysia and Japan already accepted bitcoin and others cryptocurrencies as their business payments system. Indian cental bank alow bitcoin as legally.
-

Here in my country, there is one bank here that was opened into cryptocurrency and this is Unionbank, and I agreed also that majority of the bank on which they are rejecting cryptocurrency or bitcoin will soon be change their mind to accept to their own bank for sure.
-
Banks and cryptocurrencies are two opposite sides in globally economic markets. But some countries governments and agencies accept bitcoin as legally and permit cryptocurrencies besides their central banking system.
-
definitely YES!
banks will soon have their own digital currencies.
And we might see crypto credit cards too!
-
One day it is very possible that banks will implement crypto technology. Especially if this crypto has become legal. Of course, it will be possible for the technology to be used by many projects including banks. Because I think it's actually similar to crypto technology with existing banks.
I also believe banks will one day accept cryptocurrency; Banks in some countries have already adopted cryptocurrency; Hopefully, if the governments of other countries legalize cryptocurrency in that country, the banks there will also accept it. In addition, both central and commercial banks in many countries around the world are now using blockchain technology.
-
I believe that 2023 paper money will finish crypto will use ass money lot of banks connect with crypto soon crypto will legal in all our world every bank will create there own crypto coin.
-
I do not believe it, because the banks have a completely different system, which is very different from the system's blockchains.
-
Absolutely yes in due time. banks is obliged to adjust according to great demand from investors.if the people turn to cryptocurrency investment banks will create a way to adopt cryptocurrency in banking system to satisfy the needs of costumers. Government cannot prohibit cryptocurrency once the massive people demanded.
-
Crypto decentralization is not legally regulated as it will take a long time for banks to enter blockchain technology speeds up transactions but banks work on paper money conversions. Crypto cannot replace currency if crypto becomes legal all over the world and the governments of all countries support it then the bank will accept crypto.
-
The other day I read an article that there is a huge spread of public opinion in this sector, some people see crypto currencies as a possible driver of fundamental change in the global financial system, others dislike bitcoin, but blockchain There is some confidence in the technology that sheds light on it, and other people just look at the crypto, basically, a complete waste of time.
-
There are people in the last 3years that kick against crypto, even said that crypto is a bubble ready to burst.Today, many of these people had turned a great crypto enthusiast and embraced blockchian technology. Crypto is no more a complete waste of time, but a new technology that is attracting more people every day.
As for bank coming into crypto, i think that bank had already embarrassed the blockchian and some even use Ripple network in sending money globally. Soon than later, bank all over the world will adopt to crypto. I believe this is in progress, it is a gradual thing.
-
Banks are coming into crypto for sure, even some bank staffs are fully into crypto either secretly or outside their work areas, they've all tried to bring crypto down but crypto kept growing stronger because it's the people's choice, they have no choice but to join else, they will be left behind
-
Cryoto currency is a technology that many people are now using in transactions. People are interested in learning about cryptocurrency anew. It attracts new people every day and uses blockchain technology for banking transactions. There have been many improvements in using blockchain technology. But there are many people who were against cryptocurrency. Many of them were mistaken and many of them got involved with cryptocurrency.
-
I also read this article , this is really good if we able to trading via bank . Blockchain technology is widely used for transcation purpose . I also read a article that bank's also have plans to move toward blockchain technology .
This is clear that Crypto have a good and bright future .
-
All countries will be obliged to approve Bitcoin transactions. Because Bitcoin is a popular currency and the same type is traded by people in every country. Transactions through blockchain technology are very easy for people around the world to realize it. Blockchain technology is being used in almost all countries of the world. Those who have not yet approved of blockchain technology. But they will in the future. Because the banks of their country are not controlling. So those banks or countries will be obliged to approve.
-
The Cryptocurrency industry is getting more advanced from time to time, this of course will affect all financial elements including banking institutions. If the Bank does not immediately enter Cryptocurrency in it, maybe the Bank will be outdated. But I don't believe it will happen as quickly as they predicted. It could happen over a longer time.
-
maybe the Bank will be outdated. But I don't believe it will happen as quickly as they predicted. It could happen over a longer time.
Well, but whether banks can coexist with crypto? I don't know. Because the banking and crypto industries are very different systems
-
There are Bitcoin users scattered all over the world. And Bitcoin attracts new people every day or every day. Bitcoin transactions are very useful and I think it is better to use Bitcoin. So all the countries of the world will approve the bank. Because Bitcoin is the greatest currency. Bitcoin transactions will be secure in all countries. That must be approved by the banks.
-
Many banks against crypto currency but I believe that in one day the banks will adopt cryptocurrencies and I think Bitcoin will be the first and then ethereum then ripple, only the trusted cryptos.
-
Well, but whether banks can coexist with crypto? I don't know. Because the banking and crypto industries are very different systems
I also don't know bro whether Cryptocurrency and a Bank can coexist, because indeed between Banks and Cryptocurrency have different systems. But I think there will always be a way forward in the future, maybe they won't put their systems or payment methods together. But between the Bank and Cryptocurrency, respectively. it's just that they are under the same auspices of the banking institution.
-

I think it will be very difficult, we know that crypto is desentalized while the bank is controlled by the government. I prefer between banks and crypto to complement each other or that banks can use blockchain technology for their transactions
-
I am sure that the bank will soon enter into cryptocurrencies or they can use blockchain technology. As the popularity of crypto grows, the bank will also consider its benefits and advantages. Thought some government does not understand this system, but soon they will take this step.
-
I am not sure the banks to join crypto space in the near future. Many governments in the world still don't legalize it. So, it is one of the obstacles that banks are a bit hard to join. If the status of crypto is legal in all countries, I think the banks may join soon.
-
The question do you believe bank will join cryptos? is an under estimated statement because virtually all banks activities are carried out electronically, and most bank has E wallet which required one coin or the other. Banks are already in crypto.
-

Is it blockchain technology? I don't think so because banks are still centralized while crypto is decentralized. So it's a different system.
-
I think bitcoin will be more popular in future world and people getting more and more depending on bitcoin uses. So some countries allow bitcoin due to people interests. So banks one day allow cooperative with their transaction system.
-

Banks will transition rather quickly from their long-obsolete SWIFT to blockchain. This is even seen in the example of the development of the ripple network.
However, here we are talking about direct cryptocurrency trading. If this refers to the exchange of cryptocurrency for regular currency, then banks will also be engaged in this, because at the same time they do not risk anything. To do this, they only need detailed instructions from above on how to do this, and they will make their profit on the cryptocurrency.
-
I believe that not only bank but also economic all institution or organization will adopt crypto currency this time is not so far. With in 2- 3 years we will see the reflection of the adoption.
-
maybe the Bank will be outdated. But I don't believe it will happen as quickly as they predicted. It could happen over a longer time.

Technology could make both in one line. Humans are intelligent enough to make a way just to compose a common point for fixing the missing part in both. In due time crypto and banks will become common. Like Mars and Earth are different but Mars is on going development for the future of human lives.
-
Why not, in fact, some of the other banks are little by little adopting the concept of cryptocurrency and one of this bank company was Unionbank, I don't know the other banks if they are doing the same thing as what Unionbank did now. Therefore that is very much possible to happen anyway.
-

It is clear that what is needed is legalization from the state so that there is synergy between crypto and banks, even though it may be legal it will also be difficult to put together because it is clear that the capacity is different and crypto is too risky in its responsibilities.
-

it is too risky if banks also have to bear and work on crypto because the system is clearly different and there are many obstacles that will occur in crypto and it is not easy to solve. maybe only for exchanges such as foreign exchange, it is possible because banks can immediately make transactions again and benefit from the administration obtained.
-
Blockchain technology is not comparable. Because a lot of research is needed when it comes to blockchain technology. But there is no one like this research. If the common man of a country is asked what is blockchain technology? Then he can't answer. So I don't think everyone knows about blockchain. So banks in different countries do not want to transact using blockchain technology. does not want to approve cryptocurrency. So I think there is a need for research on this and if some experts are able to do research inside the country, banks in different countries of the world will approve it.

In the near future it is very possible that banks and crypto will be in collaboration to enhance the system of different investment field. Each party is require to adjust and adopt some system and cycles just for innovation.
-
bank If you think cryptocurrency is good for business and transactions. Then who do I want to accept in this matter. Because the bank is going to make the right decision. But bank officials need to have knowledge about this. How it can be used and hire officers. These issues will have different controls, there should be vigilance and security in this regard. Need to hire cryptocurrency trading experts.
-
Every financial sector is getting tokenized. The company is issuing token and try to do transactions without the bank involved. Banks also working with many crypto industries like XRP. Some Asian back is working with Ripple and that means they are also thinking about crypto and trying to understand and accept it.
-

If it means whether banks will switch to using blockchain technology like the rippe network, then of course this will happen, and very quickly. Almost all states, without exception, have realized the real advantages of blockchain technology and are already mastering this technology at a rapid pace. Banks will not leave them alone. The SWIFT method, which they used before, is outdated for a long time and bank employees themselves understand this.
As for operations with cryptocurrency, here you can count on the introduction of cryptocurrency and regular currency exchange by banks. Banks will carry out more complex operations with cryptocurrency if it is profitable for them financially and after multiple weighing of all possible risks.
-
If banks allow bitcoin friendly with their banking transactions systems then I think bitcoin will be more stable and more than their liquidity asset gold. But government's plans are opposite of bitcoin development.
-
Actually, some banks have been involved in the crypto world. They create their CBDC and they accept the presence of the cryptos. However, it doesn't mean that it will be a full condition to get into crypto. There are still some cases that they will limit the involvement.
-

If this is the case then banks should have to switch to using blockchain technology and implement a digital currency system and not use paper money anymore because that would only damage the world because the raw material for paper money is wood which is currently running out.
-

I'm really not sure what reputable banks has XRP partnered with?
-
One day this might happen. But it will definitely require a long process. Even now, the government still doesn't agree with crypto. So the main step if you really want to enter crypto in a traditional banking system, you have to get government permission first.
-
I think it will be difficult for crypto to be recognized as a bank. Because the crypto system is very different from the bank. And indeed there is no government approval. So it is very difficult for cypto to become a bank.
-
It is already happening as most banks and corporate finance institutions are already buying up bitcoin and majority of top altcoins in the industry. I believe with the promotion and publicity cryptocurrency and blockchain is currently enjoying, we will be seeing a lot more investments from financial institutions in the nearest future.
-
"Banks will trade cryptocurrency sooner than people think", that statement not from me but from the former head of J.P. Morgan's blockchain operation says banks like her former employer could get into the cryptocurrency business imminently. Some speculate that sooner or later banks will partner with cryptos. What do you think, guys?
Banks will not switch to using a decentralized cryptocurrency, but they are quite capable of providing cryptocurrency exchange services. That is, banks will not take on the risks of cryptocurrency, but they may well use it where they will have a guaranteed profit. This is quite in the spirit of the banking system.
At the same time, commercial banks may still take a certain risk in working with cryptocurrency, but state ones will not take risks unambiguously.
-

I believe with the promotion and publicity cryptocurrency and blockchain is currently enjoying, we will be seeing a lot more investments from financial institutions in the nearest future.
You are confused or do not understand something. Banks do not buy bitcoin. Individuals buy up, but not banks. Banks do not have their own funds, and they will not risk depositors' funds.
-
I think it will be difficult for crypto to be recognized as a bank. Because the crypto system is very different from the bank. And indeed there is no government approval. So it is very difficult for cypto to become a bank.
That's right, banks have something different that is they have support from the government, but here we don't need a bank, anyone who wants to accept bitcoin for a box of pizza, that's a great thing, no fiat and transactions are quickly, we own blockchain and banks are slowly adopting it, crypto more than banks, because everything is transparent and safe in our hands
-
i think this is something that cannot be ascertained if the child you are caring for needs the love of both parents and also needs small business capital. Banks still seem to be anti-Bitcoin, I don't know what it will look like, explode or just a beautiful cross. Very frick but cool. Very frisky but cool, let's just say you are playing an online game which actually happened
-

I think It will take several years again, not soon.
Because several countries still blocked and against crypto currency.
Banks also didn't addopt crypto technology so far.
-
sooner or later banks will partner with crypto but I think it still takes time because some countries still can't give crypto licenses maybe more than banks but banks don't want to take risks in cryptocurrensy
-
In many countries, banks are already dealing with the crypto exchanges but in my opinion, banks will not directly deal with cryptos they will deal with cryptos when their respective countries launch their own digital currencies I believe that would be accepted as USDT stable coins. In the coming years, many countries will launch their own stable digital currencies so that banks can easily deal with them.
-
I think that this is inevitable, all banks will fight to the last to avoid this, because it is not profitable for them, but the future is a foregone conclusion, everything goes to the adoption of cryptocurrency
-

Bank do not support Cryptocurrencies, because they are contradictory. But the development of Cryptocurrency is very fast, like it or not they will enter this world. Otherwise they might be left behind, but maybe the rules will be different because this Cryptocurrency is a Digital currency.

Yes, I think bank will partner with crypto soon, because crypto currency is the future technology and so popular now.
I think banks should accept and adopt block chain technology.
-
of course banks will follow developments and will partner with crypto and I think it will take time to get to that point and when that comes we will see a lot of investment from financial institutions
-

I think Bank won't get in to crypto sooner, It will take several years again.
Because there are several government that blocked and didn't accept crypto currency.
-
Bank will accept and trade crypto? I don't think will do it, it is a bit impossible. We know that banks hate crypto coins because it makes people have their own financial system. All people can be free to transfer their money with crypto without the need for banks. It is what banks don't want to happen. So, how can banks support crypto or be involved in crypto? Impossible for me!

That's true, we already have exchanges like Binance and other exchanges that support fiat for making withdrawals, but if banks were to add crypto to their current debit card system, I think they would benefit from any transaction fees.

Right now, I only see XRP which has bank partners, but I don't follow updates from XRP, if the bank doesn't support crypto, it's possible that we can't withdraw fiat money from some exchanges, it's a complicated situation because banks also want profit, so there is no way the bank will reject it.

I think bank will accept and get into crypto currency at the coming future.
But not sooner, it will take several years again .
Maybe at 4-5 years will happen.
-
Banks can provide certain services in cryptocurrency that will be the least risky for them. The most acceptable such services for them are the exchange of cryptocurrencies both for fiat and among themselves. But banks will not switch to using cryptocurrency instead of their national currency. These are the powers of the governments and the legislature of the country, and they will not make such decisions. This is detrimental to their planned economies.
-
It's hard to ignore a $2.5tn+ economy so I would expect so.

Yes, I think It depends on their government.
If the government allow and have rules for crypto currency, I think banks will get in to crypto.
But I don't think It will happen soon.

From the point of view of technology, in fact, the blockchain can solve a bunch of problems in the banking system, but I think the banking system will not switch to the blockchain, because this system was created by odes, and the population is not ready to accept every single cryptocurrency. I think the banking system will remain in its usual state for a long time to come.

Some speculate that sooner or later banks will partner with cryptos. What do you think, guys?
I think this will happen in quick time but I am very much convinced that bank someday will use adopt crypto currency to make their service better. But I'm against to regulate in Bank. Because of unidentify transaction system.

You're right, banks will adopt crypto currency to make their service better, some day.
I think when digital era come, every banks will use digital technology
-
It depends on what we mean by the banks' transition to cryptocurrency. and Banks will provide services in cryptocurrency only if it is beneficial for them and there is no risk for them. They will not go to the use of cryptocurrency themselves in their banking operations. At the same time, they have already appreciated the benefits of blockchain technology and will use it to replace their outdated SWIFT method. They will also widely use their digitized national currencies, that is, stable coins of the central banks of states, and therefore it makes no sense for them to switch to cryptocurrency.
-
I think banks might be able to start developing cryptocurrencies for their development but I'm sure there will be few people who care about that because they already like cryptocurrency digital currencies than banks, many people prefer to store their assets in digital form rather than having to store them in banks.

Banks will start to adopt crypto technology if the government allow the crypto currency.
Because It depends on their rules, banks always follow the government rules.

I'm glad that I am in a country that is liberal and open to adopting Cryptocurrency, it's makes things easy for us who are into Cryptocurrency I can invest, mine and participate in everything related to Cryptocurrency because out government makes things easy for us.
-

You are right, bro. It is all about the policy from the government, banks will always follow it. Because crypto is only considered as a digital investment, I don't think banks to try adopting it for a payment tool. The rules in my country is very clear, only our national currency can be used as a payment tool. So, I doubt if banks want to get into cryptos as well.

maybe It wil take several years again, your country will accept and legalize crypto if crypto currency has been allowed by many countries at the world. Banks will adopt when crypto being legalized.

I don’t think that banks can seriously engage in cryptocurrency trading. It's too risky for them. Banks have many of their traditional sources of profit and have almost no risk of losing their invested funds. The most common of them is the provision of loans and servicing transactions of financial and economic activities of legal entities and individuals.
It also does not make sense for them to use cryptocurrency directly, CBDCs can completely replace their need for fast and cheap transactions.
-
There are many things fighting banks for not going into Cryptocurrency project number one the government of some country but I believe that in the future time the banks have no choice but adopt the use of Cryptocurrency in it's ecosystem, no matter how they fight against it, some bank are secretly banking into Cryptocurrency Ecosystem.

Yeah, I think CBDCs can completely replace their need for fast and cheap transactions
I don't think bank will adopt crypto currency, I agree with It's too risky.
Crypto currency is very volatile and cannot be controlled, bank didn't want to allow it.

I agree with this I think CBDC will replace traditional bank, CBDC is enough completely to solve fast and cheap transaction.
I also see many investors and senior said about it.
They didn't believe bank.will adopt crypto.
-
Banks will trade cryptocurrencies ? I'm not so sure about this problem, I see that there are still rejections in some countries... if it is in the near future to be able to enter the cryptocurrency business as said by the former head of blockchain operations JP Morgan.
yes, hopefully the policy will have positive values for everyone.
-
It seems that in the next 5 years we will see the majority of the banks will also involve in cryptocurrencies. Some banks are saying cryptos are riskier for the financial ecosystem but they can not stop the adoption of the cryptos so they will also adopt it sooner or later.
-
If you look at the progress of crypto. So it may be possible going forward. Because its popularity is increasing. And also the passion of crypto in the everyone. So the bank can take this decision for its own profit.

In the Philippines, there’s already one government-regulated bank who has its own crypto ATM, the first ever in the history of the country.
Although that other banks are still anti-crypto, but slowly there are some who have embraced and adopted cryptocurrency in open arms. And also recently, a local but popular mobile payment provider Paymaya will be launching their own crypto-friendly “Maya Bank” that will be catering customers both with traditional banking and cryptocurrency-related services.
Source here: https://bitpinas.com/business/paymaya-crypto-bank-q1-2022/ (https://bitpinas.com/business/paymaya-crypto-bank-q1-2022/)
As for me, it may not be as fast as you think, but these banks will surely catch up and not going to be left behind.
-
Various banks around the world long time ago begun to study the cryptocurrency sphere and many banks are already cooperating with various cryptocurrencies, and if I am not mistaken, there have already been attempts by some banks to create their own cryptocurrencies, and in general, the whole world is gradually beginning to understand that cryptocurrencies are our future, therefore the time will come when all banks around the world will start to work with cryptocurrencies.

-
I think Biden's long awaited executive order will open the door for banks to get involved if there is more regulation. Not sure that's good long term though as sets the wrong precedent for why crypto was invented in the first place.
-

Yeah, banks will accept and adopt crypto currency.
It will needs regulation from the government.
At this time banks and several companies learning about crypto technology, It's suitable or not.
But I believe crypto has potential to be.
So let's wait at the next several years again, We all know ripple has been supported by banks.

Yeah, I think banks will partner with crypto soon.
We can buy crypto in banks.
Crypto currency is the future currency, I think banks and the government should think about crypto technology.
They should allow and adopt Blockchain technology, not to replace fiat money but for support digital currency.
-
If cryptocurrency has been legalized in a country, there will be many banks that will enter cryptocurrency.
They will serve if there is someone who will exchange Crypto coins with Fiat, but if Crypto has been legalized in a country Are conventional banks still in use?
-
From my own point of view banks are already integrating crypto in some countries already though it has not circulated ,let's check places like El_savador and it will soon be gaining ground in all the whole world in some years to come, everything is just on a gradual process buddy and do you know great project is been realised on a daily basis in this crypto space so it sure banks will soon be using it for sure , projects like VALK which is a market-leading tokenisation platform that is expanding into the DeFi market, the have amazing features and packages and the amazing part is there Upcoming launch of the MERLIN DeFi smart wallet & yield aggregator platform will help users to calculate their positions plus yield generated.I can boldly say it one of the project that is making the crypto space enlarge more
-
I am sure that banks will not easily trust cryptocurrencies because some banks challenge the growth of cryptocurrencies because they think it will hinder the growth of fiat. If that happens, then traditional banks will not be used anymore because people will continue to depend on bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I'm sure banks and cryptocurrencies won't work very well together.
-
Here, first of all, OP wants to bring to the attention of the information that, according to the former head of the blockchain department of JP Morgan, banks may soon engage in cryptocurrency business, that is, carry out transactions for the purchase and sale of cryptocurrencies in order to make a profit. It is unlikely that we will see this, especially on a significant scale. This thread was started in June 2018, which is almost four years ago. That is, the "nearest time" can be considered already passed. But we still don’t see banks trading cryptocurrencies and making money on it. Banks can provide intermediary services for the exchange of cryptocurrencies. They are unlikely to trade them, because this activity is fraught with great risk. I think that only some commercial banks can carry out only some of these operations. Cryptocurrency is too volatile in price and unpredictable for the banking system.
-

I think diat money still be used mate, odnt worry about this.
If the bank support crypto currency , it's just support and no mean must legalize crypto as payment method. Crypto is just investment.
And I think crypto is not a threaten for fiat money.
-
It seems that banks will also start dealing in the cryptos as the adoption of cryptos is growing at a rapid pace So they will consider it but at present, I have noticed many countries are planning to launch their own stable cryptocurrency so that people can send the digital fiat currencies anywhere around the world. We all know Bitcoin and Ethereum got good recognition in the world and I hope many more cryptocurrencies will be famous like Btc & Ethereum.
-
The work of banks is based on strict centralization and therefore state banks will not be engaged in cryptocurrency trading. There, they can only exchange the most famous types of cryptocurrencies for fiat, and vice versa, having their own commissions. Commercial banks can try to trade cryptocurrencies, but here again it will largely depend on the general instructions of the government.
-
some banks have already started to offer crypto custody services obviously they will not miss such a greedy earning opportunity, over time all banks will also offer crypto exchange services
-
maybe it will happen, banks go into crypto to trade but not anytime soon I think it takes time
-
Gradually, banks will definitely adopt cryptocurrencies because they keep up with technological developments, so that crypto assets can be used as investment funds to make it easier for customers.
-
maybe it will happen, banks go into crypto to trade but not anytime soon I think it takes time
Yeah, It will take the time, because banks to accept crypto needs the regulation of the government.
It's not easy.
I think It will happen at the coming years
-
For what the reality things happen now is that some of the bank companies are now adapting the cryptocurrency industry, just like Unionbank, for now this was the friendly crypto banks who adopted this matter, in fact they have established as well a huge community all over the places of the world, just a thought.
-

Banks are already getting into the crypto business and with time it will be fully embraced. It is a gradual process. The importance of cryptocurrency to the world can't be overemphasized.
-
It is hard to say right now the bank will trade crypto or not but it clear that some technology that blockchain offers make bank interested. JP Morgan open their lounge in one of the metaverse project. Also there was some positive news from some top bank about crypto integration. I hope soon this will be the reality.
-

Yeah, I think banks will get in to crypto. It's a business.
So, banks should have good function to accommodate the crypto.
Because at several countries, crypto currency has been allowed.
-
Cryptocurrency trading for banks is too risky. Banks have their own types of business, where there is practically no risk. Therefore, I do not believe that banks will start trading cryptocurrencies. They can still provide cryptocurrency exchange services, but no more.
-
If we look at the success of crypto, then one day it can definitely happen. Because now slowly it is making a lot of progress. So we can assume that. It will be one day but after some time.
-

I agree, nothing is certain but there are definitely reasons to believe banks will be interested in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies. The most likely scenario seems to be the creation of CBDC's, from where I'm standing, though.
-
XRP is a coin that has many banking partners, but look at what government agencies are doing, there are still accusations leveled against the founder of XRP.
Banks and crypto can actually work together, but because crypto is difficult to control, some government agencies are still thinking about which coins they will accept. Crypto was created for P2P transactions and we don't need a bank.

I think we will see.
Maybe others doubt about it.
-
At the present time now, there are some banks now already involved into crytpocurrency, and one of bank this I knew was the Unionbank where they already accepted altcoins coming from their community who are crypto enthusiast.
-
I am sure that banks will switch to blockchain-moreover, many are already doing it. I don't think it will be any well-known cryptocurrencies, rather CBDC.
-
If they want to take it into their bank, then it will happen and their system will improve soon. In other countries, banks are already using these technologies and everything is successful.
-
it will always happen, remember that changes with progress must always be followed because otherwise we will be left alone, especially since we know that banks are always able to adopt something more renewable faster. but maybe the system will be adjusted to the habits that have been done so far by banks because banking so far has been running quite well, only there are only additions.

The banking system as a whole will not do business with cryptocurrencies. For her, this is too risky and unacceptable. Banks will issue their CBDC and this digitized currency will replace the cryptocurrency.

It's just the government product to against crypto technology.
But I think bank should accept crypto for their customer.
It's good for bank transaction

Blockchain technology is not only a cryptocurrency. This is just a small example of how it can be used. Blockchain technology can be used in almost all sectors of the economy of any state where there is a need to use large amounts of data online and with a high degree of security. The Internet and blockchain technology allows you to work with any data on a global scale. On the practical side, blockchain technology can be used where any person needs a variety of reference information that is constantly updated.

That's right, my friend, technological advances in this world are always evolving and all must be able to adapt to that progress if they don't want to be considered behind and can't work together later. where blockchain technology is one of those technological advances, this will help a lot in technological change and may not be able to immediately but gradually because not all can immediately accept this progress, need to always adapt to renewable things, or at least it will run together first.
-
I think yes. Hey, some examples of implementing blockchain technology in everyday life? I am following the Cannumi project, and I'm very curious about your opinion on it 8)
Very true, there's every possibility that banks will get into crypto. In short I strongly believe that they will eventually all slide in, although its going to be slow and gradual. You can take for instances many of the e-payment services, many of them now integrate cryptocurrency into their supported currencies. It would also interest you that a number of Mainstream banks have secured the license to start keeping cryptocurrency custody for customers.
-
Banks are already in too deep into crypto, right now as I type. The only hindrance to mass adoption is government regulations and restrictions. Some Swiss and Brazilian banks are adopting some crypto blockchains, I think Stellar and Ripple. There would be more mainstream adoption as time goes on
-

You are right but this was made happen by the advent of Cryptocurrency
Blockchain has the potential to grow to be a bedrock of the worldwide record-keeping systems, but was launched just 10 years ago. It was created by the unknown persons behind the online cash currency bitcoin, under the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto (https://www.icaew.com/technical/technology/blockchain-and-cryptoassets/blockchain-articles/what-is-blockchain/history)
And now every other sector of the economy can use it for its usefulness and in terms of OPs concerns, there are a few more Banks that will into offering cryptocurrency services now and are probably investing in crypto themselves.
Crypto Friendly Banks (https://www.creditdonkey.com/crypto-friendly-banks.html)
-
Banks are already in too deep into crypto, right now as I type. The only hindrance to mass adoption is government regulations and restrictions. Some Swiss and Brazilian banks are adopting some crypto blockchains, I think Stellar and Ripple. There would be more mainstream adoption as time goes on
These blockchains are more for internal processes. Moreover, many banks create various cryptocurrency products and single them out as independent in order to comply with legislation and keep up with the trend.
-
This will depend on what country regulation aboit crypto. I am not sure that they will, but what you mean maybe like the use of CBDC? Or bank will soon use the blockchain technology?
Well banks commonly will not get into crypto or accept crypto because they cannot control cryptocurrency itself. Bank is centralized while crypto is decentralized.
-
Banks are already accepting Ripple's XRP, which is the first step. A few banks are also starting to offer crypto services to users, who want to profit from this rapidly growing market.
-
there will always be updates in every new growth in technology and crypto is no exception, it is only natural that banks will accept these developments.
but it is clear that banks that have accepted crypto will also compete with exchanges that have been running so far and of course it is not easy to compete, because so far crypto connoisseurs may have been used to what has been done without a bank.
but maybe the bank should need to adapt to what has been going on so far and the ease of use through the bank should be better than the exchange that is already running.
the bank has the advantage of its customers who also need a bank for every transaction, because all will seek the best convenience and the bank already has the best side because its customers will support it.
-
I do not think banks will get into crypto, because they won’t be able to set an authority over the decentralised system. However, if banks start to trade cryptos, they have the potential to decide in which direction the crypto price will move by buying or selling in large amounts, thus centralising the trade.
-
Bank working structure is centralized on the other hand cryptocurrencies are decentralized and we always heard in some countries financial sector heads warn the govt about the usage of cryptos and it will kill the revenue of the bank so here banks can start with their own country's stable cryptocurrency rather than other cryptocurrencies and we can expect top currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum can also be offered.
-

I agree more if crypto has its own commodity which this network can be used by anyone. Especially if this technology can be accepted in various circles then this will be better for crypto development.
-
May few bank accepts crypto, but I don't think banks will accept it. Because it is decentralized which make it totally different from other currencies.
-
If the cryptocurrency system is very popular and the technology that banks need, they will use it. Of course, this will not happen so quickly and the banking system will accept cryptocurrency.
-
Banks will not be able to widely use cryptocurrency due to the lack of any regulation. As for the technology, they continue to use it now
-
Banks will not be able to widely use cryptocurrency due to the lack of any regulation. As for the technology, they continue to use it now
there will always be developments and changes that we will not be able to know, although it will be difficult to fully replace everything that has been done so far by banks. crypto will penetrate all sectors and inevitably, all will not be able to refuse it including banking. so only time will tell all this and we will wait for that.
-
Sooner or later banks will accept cryptocurrencies because current crypto transactions can be an advantage for banks, There are more than 1 million BTC that never make transactions, if Banks accept crypto and make policies like Deposits, of course the bank will be the choice of many investors, because in the future the Bank will soon disappear with the DeFi platform, then the Bank must make changes
-
increase in crypto users allows banks to enter crypto faster if it benefits them and start trading
-
Yes, I do believe that cryptocurrencies can be used as a currency by banks in future times. Cryptocurrencies have many benefits over traditional fiat currencies, including lower transaction fees, faster transaction times, and greater security.I believe that these factors make cryptocurrencies a viable option for use as a currency by banks in the future.

Banks will and are already engaged in the creation of their CBDC, that is, their digitized national currencies. They will use the new opportunities and advantages of blockchain technology, and they will still be treated almost indifferently to decentralized cryptocurrencies.
The banking system functions in a completely different way than cryptocurrency. Everyone recognizes this, but for some reason they think that they will switch to using cryptocurrency. No, they will improve their currency.

I think yes because the country I'm in is one of these. There are some banks here that have entered the digital banking industry where they are open to cryptocurrency. And even our BSP (Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas) here has approved these digital banks because they have provided everything that is required by our government agency here. And this is a piece of good news for us crypto enthusiasts.

Morgan's blockchain arm. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/05/18/banks-could-start-trading-crypto-soon-says-fmr-jpmorgan-executive.html
Some speculate that sooner or later banks will partner with cryptos. What do you think, guys?
It makes no sense for banks to join cryptocurrency trading. For them, this type of activity is too risky. Banks have a lot of ways to make money with little or no risk, or much less risk than when trading cryptocurrencies. . Cryptocurrency is too unpredictable in its price ups and downs. In addition, the work of banks when using fiat is completely different from working with cryptocurrency, since cryptocurrency works on completely different principles, which are unacceptable for banks.

It is very difficult to talk about this now, since it is not so clear with cryptocurrency yet, but there are countries that already use the cryptocurrency platform in the banking system.

As crypto trading continues to grow, now the big banks that initially underestimated cryptocurrencies have changed their attitude. some such as Wall Street are starting to consider issuing digital currencies. Investing in cryptocurrencies has grown in popularity after the shift from investing in stocks to cryptocurrencies. This will led to mass adoption of cryptocurrency and of course bank will noticed.

Yes, I have full faith. banks will soon get into cryptos. Because the coming age is a digital age. And crypto is a digital currency. So in the coming time, cryptocurrency will rule the whole world.

In due time, Bitcoin will be accepted globally and the financial community will embrace the crypto digital transaction into the main stream market. Once the issue on Regulation are resolved, i am more positive that little by little different bank will be using the Blockchain system and integration to adopt Bitcoin in the future banking system.

States and their banks will not massively use decentralized cryptocurrencies. For them, this is unacceptable. Instead of a cryptocurrency, they will switch to the issuance and use of their CBDC, that is, their digitized currency. They will use blockchain technology and the advantages of cryptocurrencies as they deem necessary, and this will completely free states from engaging in cryptocurrencies. Banks can further exchange cryptocurrencies for fiat and some other functions with cryptocurrencies, but they will not fully accept cryptocurrencies. For them, such operations are too risky.
