I don't think ETH is straggling to up rather it is recovering its price. If Bitcoin didn't failed, ETH now can be over $250. 16th January Ethereum hardfork. It will change the Proof of Work (PoW) to Proof of Stakes (PoS). It is considered one step ahead of the strongest future money. So ETH holders need to wait for few days to go to the strong position in crypto market.

after a year of this thread, ethereum still struggling in the market. price seems to fluctuate very hard. from the above $200 last month it is down again to $170+. it is very sad that the 2nd coin in the the whole cryptospace is just below $200 while the top coin is about $8k. hopefully, etc market will really bounce back to above $500 so that we could recover our losses in the past year.

I've check ETH's rate a while ago and it's a bit disappointing honestly. I was expecting it is under $250 but its $184 in Binance. But I think the rate is okay though as I remember entering the crypto world with $150 as ETH's rates years ago.

You cant compared bitcoin to eth, we all knew how bitcoin adoptiom has grown exponentially already. Eth is just a start up project and there is a lot of improvement and development phase on its platform. Hate to say, but we are just in the early stage of their progress. I would encourage everyone to hold some eth cause this platform will eventually useful in the future as many changes that the community like is coming very soon.
