Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Which Alt coins you are holding?
« on: March 25, 2021, 03:39:31 AM »
No one else but XRP  ofcourse and etherium. They are known altcoins in cryptocurrency so, I'm sure my investment have better future.

For sure holding my XRP till $3 minimum, somethings tells me to hold till $7. I mine ETH and trade from there, pretty stable ups and downs so you can make a few % extra a week by flipping it back and forth from DAI or some other tether/stable coin. It's a bit of work though so I'd prefer to stack XRP than spend all day trading for dimes a nicks

Pump & Dump / Re: information is power
« on: March 25, 2021, 03:33:54 AM »
How can we learn to identify pumps from the current price, and volume available for sale on the exchanges? Looking at coinbase, you may miss the pump by a few $0.xx, but when you trade on a more advanced platform there are tools to help. By the time you read here it may be too late.... unless someone here is scanning Reddit and lets us know before the pumps happen.

Ohio may be the most crypto friendy state in USA.

A few years back  "Ohio made news as the first state in the nation to accept tax payments using cryptocurrency. Less than a year later, the program has been suspended after accusations that it wasn’t properly vetted."

I was almost able to pay taxes with my crypto, but someone had to get involved.... I can covert BTC into silver/gold/platinum here which is nice.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is cryptocurrency changing the world?

For me it's another way to diversify investments. I still invest in my house/land, silver, 401k, and now throw in some crypto.  When traveling, it may make things easier to not get scammed on exchange rates.

Crypto is cool and all, but decentralization is where it is at. That's why I mine GPU coins, as they have the ability to make everyone with a CPU a few $$$ and keep the servers spread out. Don't let all the power and control end up in a few places, like the stock market and banks.

RVC, HIT, ERGO, VERT, and other random meme coins I find on Gate.io

I like what I see here. HIT just did a %120 rally last week and now it's time to think about the future.

"I am holding Dego, Youc, Ame, Student DIA Coin."  I've never heard of any of those either

There are rumors of BTCs origins and how it's been used by some high level organizations for criminal deeds. Some say XRP was created by the whitehats and will replace BTC when some stuff gets exposed in the short time. I don't trust BTC much, but ETH can remain somewhat valuable.

Something is happening. Got into CVC a few days ago before the jump, and XRP months ago before it was removed form many exchanges. So far so good. Going to be BULL! for many years, but some coins will tank and dissapear. Too many coins coming out right now...

When I have time I day trade, a few % here and there can add up. Most of the time you have to wait for days and weeks to buy low sell high. Don't be too greedy and you can make a bit extra. It just takes a lot of time to wait for the point of two, so be patient.

Stellar Forum / Re: Will Stellar Overtake Ripple?
« on: March 22, 2021, 11:52:18 PM »
I'm betting that XRP will take off once the lawsuit clear up. It's all about the free marketing and exposure from the law suit. FOMO of the coinbase crowd will make it explode once it gets back on. I got a bit at $0.27 and am holding for $3.00 after the lawsuit.

My stella has not been so fortunate... I think both will go up over the next few years, but Ripple will be better for long term since it's a bit different than the rest of crypto.

Hello everyone,

Interesting community you have here with good ideas. USA located with an EE with controls and embedded hardware experience. Started mining with a few rigs and now I'm getting active with trading and educating others about the decentralized future.  Next step for me is to automate my trading to free up some time. Long term plan is to push a bunch of data into Azure and see if ML can make life even easier and more profitable.

As of now, just trying to learn why crypto does what it does... if that can even be answered. Hope you can all help!
