I will not be hypocritical here, but for safely, gold is better for storing the value of your money. the price of gold is very stable at any time, so it is perfect if you want to save the value of your money. in the Middle Ages, the price of 1 chicken was only 1 gold dinar. and until now the price of 1 chicken is still the same as 1 gold dinar, you can look for it on google. this proves that gold is the right tool to maintain the value of your money

People invested in altcoins because altcoin can give more profit than Bitcoin as we think. And we have a great history on that. And many people in this community thinks that we missed the Bitcoin train Bitcoin would not give that much profit. Cause the market cap of Bitcoin is really high at this point but a coin with 3-4 millions market if goes to billion or even 50-60 million can you imagine how much profit it can give you. That's the reason people always invest in altcoins. But how much profit it's hard to say. There is many factors like the knowledge of holder ,market conditions, project quality and how much you invest. But if you don'thave any knowledge about this altcoin market then don't invest here.

Its still the Ethereum that will soon be a top altcoin which will turn out to be the most used coin. If you have to invest invest in the most widely use coin besides BTC.
If the high profile personalities in crypto recommend to have at least bitcoin for your investment then also try to have ETH because its much cheaper as of now. Remember that it reached up to 1200usd last year.

Because investors think that having a currency of the platform where other coins will build their projects would be more beneficial than having a coin which will be used as a currency for payments.

blockchain and bitcoin both have very important relationships in the crypto world, but although bitcoin is the culmination of the current crypto coin chain. so, I think blockchain without bitcoin can survive. if when bitcoin disappears for some reason, blockchain persists by replacing it with another crypto coin. but instead, bitcoin without blockchain probably will not last.

I don't think ICOs are going to work in 2019. Unless, they are backed by other genuine projects, crypto leaders. Also, people will be more cautious in investing in projects which don't have any utility and just for speculation. Those kinds of projects have hurt the most to the crypto world.

My experience in trading industry is not easy as you think because this is all about business and all of your decisions
that you will do are surely okay and good to prevent from mistakes of losing coins.

Yeah obviously that cryptotrading has much more volume than some forex markets, and that is why it has a lot of volume everyday, that makes it very volatile and this is why there are so many pumps and dumps in only one day. Also trading with cryptos is much more easier than trading in forex, it requires less knowledges and you can make profit so easily.
I prefer cryptotrading instead of forex or any other stock market.
