The Asure platform consists of components that provide networks and protocols for the use and construction of social security systems, including Clients, SDKs, tools, and frontend applications. The aim of this platform is to create an ecosystem where social security systems can be developed, tested, simulated, managed and used productively as quickly as possible

Asure Blockchain contains the Asure root chain and the connected sidechains. Root-chain offers advantages in the field of security as well as inter-chain communication. All Asure Blockchain running nodes represent the Asure Network. The Asure platform connects backend infrastructure to applications that can be used by end users or programming interfaces for developers to build applications on the Asure platform. The Asure Network will use the Plasma framework to create a blockchain network that can be scaled to the social security system Requirements. To further increase Layer 1 boundaries to effectively operate the social security system, Layer 2 scaling is considered the most efficient solution

That makes it easier to implement security in the system because it relies on Layer 1 The solution will be designed as a combination of the Asure root chain and the appropriate side chain to match the social security system needs. Side-chain assets can be connected to Ethereum smart contracts or other blockchain technology that works with Plasma design patterns

Asure Blockchain includes several features that protect it against attacks such as unauthorized expenses, double expenses, forging assets, and interference with blockchain. Each block is added to the blockchain, starting with a block that contains a particular transaction, called as confirmation of that transaction. Ideally, recipients and senders who receive payments must wait until at least one confirmation has been distributed across the network before assuming that the payment has been made. The more confirmation the recipient waits for, the more difficult it is for the attacker to successfully reverse the transaction in the blockchain unless the attacker controls more than half of the total network performance, in this case it is called a 51% attack. This construction is not designed to prevent 51% of attacks, but rather to encourage block blocking

Open Questions There are still some areas for improvement that can positively affect the performance of the network. They can be addressed later on after collecting enough statistic upon which can be decided the importance and the necessity
of making changes

• A secure solution for the data unavailability issue.
• A more practical application of SNARK/STARK
• A better strategies for faster implementations of social security systems and new economic models.
• A better primitive for the Proof-of-Stake Prove function, which is publiclyvariable and transparent

Since social security is only a specialized form of insurance it is obvious to also support decentralized insurances on the platform and that it is a good match to expand this platform for the market. The Asure ecosystem consists of the Asure network, the Asure protocol, the Asure platform is powered by potential third-party applications in the field of social security and the insurance environment. The acceptance of the ecosystem will grow steadily due to the resulting network effects and synergy effects
