Blockchains tend to favor either Proof-of-work networks or Proof-of-stake networks. Pulsar favors both. Our objective is to encourage the continuation of the proof-of-stake concepts while allowing for users that favor proof-of-work to continue their mining endeavors. Pulsar will not be available for mining with ASICs. Mining with ASICs is the biggest downside to the mining community, affecting the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystems greatly. While the pulsar network is just the beginning, our ambitious team is designing what will become the Pulsar Exchange.
