Websites that promote airdrops of different projects should be concerned about what they are exposing to users, but unfortunately this is not always the case. Some of these pages (not all) charge for each service in a different coin or token than the one offered, so they are not concerned about what may or may not reach the end user. If this were not the case, many scams could be avoided.

Banal, but I will say the following: most people sign transactions themselves without realizing it. I will explain, when you replenish your wallet (for a significant amount) - the bot automatically steals all the funds. Use the service "Revoke" - that would, unsubscribe not necessary to you services. As always the scammers are not dormant. It's one thing to store cryptocurrency, but it's quite another to keep it from being stolen.

Be careful not to give in to realistic/unrealistic platform copycat with ugly project background. To research is a must. Don't be in hurry to invest without knowing first. Take care of your money. Much better to go with the flow where the professional team manage the project with realistic goal and use case.

BSC did not promised the zero scam project. Be cautious.

I have experience someone investment burn down to ashes for buying a coin and it was layer dump on him on bsc chain, the team listed the coin on pancakeswap with a promise that it will go up but it later dump till nobody was willing to buy again.

DYOR is the best way to reduce these risks but it's not an assurance that you will not get into these scams unless you have 4 eyes and by that I mean you need to be smart about the type of coins that you buy and when to sell because generally altcoins are very risky investment. Just check the market cap and coingecko, over last 2 years the coins has doubled but more than half of them are dead and it's people that think are smart that invested on them.

I will tell you one more popular scheme on which you can lose your personal money.

— Fraudsters make (smart contract) with any token name.
— In the contract, they make the function of managing all tokens (issuance) on absolutely all wallets.

P.S. This means that tokens that will be sent to your wallet, they can send to another wallet (without your knowledge). Most importantly, even if you haven't interacted with the token.

Never try to sell any tokens - that come to your wallet. It is not safe and you will lose your cryptocurrency.

Patience always has a reward. In this case, the reward of having patience to learn things is something that not everyone has, and it is those people who lose money. What you say about layer 2 is very true, the only thing they do is copy the code, decorate it a little, make an eye-catching website and give it a lot of hype on social networks. There are some investors who cannot tell the difference between the BSC platform token and the token listed on the Binance exchange. There is a class of investors who think that bsc platform token means that token is listed on binance exchange. They invest with such misconceptions in their minds and after investing, when they wait for the profit, they find that they made a mistake in their investment and chose the wrong coin. The BSC platform has many tokens that have not been successful and there are many coins that investors have invested in but investors have been cheated by investing in all these coins. Scammers can never build a self-contained site. Due to which if one is able to do proper analysis then he can definitely identify the coin as a scam very soon. Investing in altcoins is already risky but if one invests in altcoins without any research then he will surely lose. so yes everyone should very careful to invest on bsc and erc20 based altcoins

Better not invest with coins has BSC platform and looking for the coins with ERC has higher fees difficult for scammer create ERC coin and they will prefer with bsc platform coins.
