Between ETH and BTC which one is more preferable?

I think the project of Ethereum 2.0 isn't over yet. So, we can't judge it doesn't solve the problem of gas fees. And I don't know if Bitcoin transfer fees are cheaper than Ethereum transfer fees. 

Yes, both BTC and ETH are the biggest coins in crypto. I think most people prefer to choose both of them than only consider investing in one of them. It is quite rare to see the people who invest in a single coin only. Most of them will invest in some crypto coins.

The Ethereum 2.0 project will never succeed because its main goal is to speed up transactions using the Ethereum network, but in reality, transactions on the Ethereum network are still very high, and if you want to speed them up, you have to increase transaction costs. So I can conclude that Ethereum 2.0 will fail because there will still be many transactions created in the future when many people use the Ethereum network.

Eth is pretty much doomed their decision to end pow and go to staking will slowly kill them off.
they can not survive much past 2030 as shown by their take of drastically altering the staking numbers.

ETH will be more profitable than Bitcoin because the price of Bitcoin has already pumped a lot and since now the price of Bitcoin is targeting $50k so to get double profit by investing here, the price of Bitcoin will have to be $100k which is not possible fast. But it's possible for ETH to hit $10k and that's before Bitcoin hits $100k. so since the price of ETH is now between $2.7k. so if the price of ETH can cross $10k then almost 4x profit is possible from here. ETH is best if looking for quick profit. But if you consider it as the strongest investment then Bitcoin is the best

well in short, we can't know, Bitcoin is heading towards the famous halving so it will be a very fun and very profitable two years for those who bet on bitcoin
but ETH has the hope of ETFs, so it's a difficult choice

I don't think Ethereum developers haa that solution, the Architectural design of Ethereum can only work efficiently in this manner, if really there was a way they would have done it, right from 2021 it will be implemented and done, there has been so many proposal on how to reduce the fees but it was rejected because there will not be a little decentralization left if speed is been priorities, I think the chain will remain like this just the way Bitcoin has also remain.

Sometimes, I'm flabbergasted how people still used the chains that suck up all their fees, people pay hug fees just to make their transaction quick on ethereum but the smart ones used layer 2 to curb this fees from feeding the Validators with all their incomes.

But, ETH is  also worth it to invest, no wonder,  I also love ETH. That is why diversifying my asset here into BTC and ETH will not be any problem.

diversify asset in many coins are good way to gain profit and reduce the risk. BTC is the first choice and Ethereum is the second. But we should have other choices in several top altcoins such as BNB, XRP, SOL, DOT and maybe TRX and dogecoin.

For me, diversifying is not completely safe and of course there will still be quite a high risk if you make the wrong purchase or have too many altcoins. Of the several coins you mentioned, I am more focused on dividing the capital I have, such as TRX, BNB and Ethereum. just buying these three coins is enough to make a lot of profit.
