米証券取引委員会（SEC）への提出書類によると、EOSIOブロックチェーンとEOS（EOS）コインを開発したBlock.oneのCEOであるブレンダン・ブルマー氏は、金融機関向けに設計された仮想通貨ゲートウェイネットワークを手掛けるシルバーゲート・バンクの持ち株会社シルバーゲート・キャピタルの株式を購入したことが明らかになった。
