Bitcoin is strong and it controls everything, and the moves of altcoins are a reflection of their instability and the revelation of their exchange for trade and performance. I think no coin can replace Bitcoin because it is great. Unless Ethereum can do it, and it will be difficult to believe in it. But anything is possible.

I highly doubt that Ethereum is capable of doing something like this, at least in the short term. There are a lot of problems with him. Maybe later, and then if it turns out to radically change the situation for the better.

I don't think bitcoin is going away anytime soon. Its not called an alpha crypto for nothing. Its got quite a community and a lot of people believe in it. I included. So perish the thought

In recent times, alt coins appears to perform incredibly well on the market as the projects has got good teams of late yet most of the coins seems to be affected by the price of Bitcoin. This is largely due to the fact that most exchange sites keep much of the price pairing with Bitcoin, hence, a fall in Bitcoin affecting the coins paired with it. Bitcoin will continue to control the market until perhaps most coins are paired with USD directly.

Yes, I think It will be if there is altcoins that have popularity and potentually such as bitcoin.
But Unfortunatelly  until now, not yet.
Altcoins will replace bitcoin at the coming future, I always believed on this prediction.

I agree with you. All cryptomarket is depend on BTC price, when btc price is increasing and stable some day then all alt coin market is increasing. But when BTC preice is down, then alt market is down. so BTC is king of cryptocurrency.

it is natural for bitcoin to be used as a benchmark for the price of all altcoins because the key to cryptocurrency price movements is only in bitcoin, when bitcoin prices rise and become expensive, it will certainly have an influence on other altcoin price movements.

Previously, when there was one bitcoin, all the money went only to buy it. Now the market capitalization is 3 trillion. Imagine what would happen if all the money went to buy only one bitcoin. It would have already cost at least 100K dollars.

These are all just fantasies. But there are already more than 13,000 cryptocurrencies on the market, and even if only three thousand of them survive, it will still be quite serious competition for bitcoin. Altcoins are developing rapidly, and bitcoin is almost at a standstill and it would be logical if this state of affairs leads to the fact that after a while it will lose its high level of capitalization. Bitcoin needs to improve, and it doesn't have a strong team behind it. Scattered groups always quarrel with each other and cannot come to any common opinion.

It's really difficult to happen for the few years again, I don't believe there is altcoins that overtake btcoin nad control the market.
Bitcoin is still superior and the biggest market cap.
It will take along years, become like bitcoin.
I don't think about potential altcoins that will be the next bitcoin.
It seems impossible.

Look Bitcoin remains the King of the market. it is the determinant of the crypto market just like Gold sitting on top of the traditional market. it is not possible for any altcoin to take over bitcoin. since bitcoin share over 1.2 trillion of the marketcap which is over 40% of the entire market.it is not possible for any altcoin to dominate.

This is already happening slowly and surely. But it would be wrong to represent this process as the seizure of the bitcoin market by altcoins. This is, in fact, an evolutionary process that cannot be stopped and which is absolutely natural for the cryptocurrency market. In any market, everything that is outdated and obsolete is gradually disappearing. And vice versa, everything new and progressive is consolidated. It is already obvious that bitcoin is outdated in many ways. Therefore, time will tell what will happen to bitcoin and altcoins.
