Our Policy:
For many, bitcoin and crypto is about finance and money, for the founders of this forum, it is not the case. We are big believers in the Libertarian ideology. The same as the early promoters of bitcoin and the crypto ecosystem in general.

We believe in minimal state intervention in the free market and the private lives of citizens.
From this point of view we oppose censorship or any attempt to manipulate or subdue any industry or individual.

BitcoinTalk:

Bitcointalk is the original forum, there are no, and there will never be a replacement, and to have the name of our forum in the same sentence as bitcointalk is a great honour.

Since satoshi left bitcointalk, others took the role of managing it.
Like any kind of people management, a forum falls victim to abuse of power, censorship and the multitude of nasty human ways of exercising power on others. That is why we originally launched Altcoinstalks, not as a replacement, but rather as an escape from any increasingly repressive community.

We initially blocked the bitcointalk links, because we had users simply posting links to the articles on btt, not caring about engaging here.
Today after more than 6 years of being a descent destination for crypto enthusiasts, we have decided to unlock the links as it should have been done a long time ago.

This will also allow wider integration between both the communities, in addition to allowing btt members to teleport to us (read here), now we are allowing bounty managers to run bounties that might be restricted on btt from our forum, hence receiving reports on our forum for signature campaigns running on both Altcoinstalks and bitcointalk.
