In my opinion, attaching emotions to gambling doesn't mean the gambler will exhibit obnoxious characters. I was an addictive gambler and most times when I lost I only feel like crying and nothing more. Now, is such feeling bad? No.

Trust me, there are many gamblers out there who are saying that they can control themselves already, and will not spend more money when they lose, but sometimes, they tend to forget it, and instead of self-control, something is controlling them and will let the gambler use all of his/her money. What's that thing that will control him? Greed. Greed will control him, and will let the gambler spend all of the money that he has.

TBH, this is also the reason why I don't want to spend too much on gambling. I don't want greed to control me. I don't want my emotions to control me, and as much as possible, I want to be emotionless. Being emotional is normal since we are all humans, but there are times where we don't really need our emotions in order to decide.
