Is it easy for an addicted gambler to stake wisely and learn how to spend his money? If it is easy then such a person is not yet addicted. The problem with addiction lies in the fact that even when you know that you are not gambling wisely yet, you find it difficult to stop. Controlling addiction is not a one-day program it takes time. I advocate that people should be taught not to be addicted because that appears easier than trying to help an addict escape addiction.

Yes I agree with you, for one to be addicted to something you must take time and due procedures to be able to quit or minimize it.
For gambling, if you notice that you're addicted to it and you're spending too much and getting very little in return and you really wants to stop it, then you can take different approaches to stop it, and one of the best approaches is always engaging your self on things that will add positive values to you, in your free time, limit your updates about betting, and things related to it.
With that I think you can be able to minimize or stop it , but time is required to do that, it is not just a day job...

Even if you're a good sports analyst there is no guarantee that you'll always win, I have seen sports bettors losing huge money because of unexpected turns of events, it's still gambling and there are unexpected situations and scenarios.

First just know that,  whatever you do consistently becomes a part of you,  and if someone has money and profits in mind as the motivation for doing what they do on daily it becomes very hard for such a person to let go of such habits,  so if a gambler has money in mind before going into gambling,  he will certainly not quite easily like that even if he loses at a roll,  this is because he will want to make up for what he has lost and at that tend to lose more,  but if lucky could hit the mega jackpot and then bounce back.

Only the moderator and OP can modify the post and yes it should be "addiction" instead of "addition" to clarify the whole thing. On the topic, I believe that anybody can be addicted to gambling or betting and it is because we all have this desire to gain or to win and if one can experience some winning then the adrenaline rush can really be memorable. I believe that all bettors are hoping to win, no one is expecting to lose otherwise they would not gambling some money. The fact that gambling is flourishing in our society, it is an industry that is really making big money and of course, all are at the expense of the bettors the very source of revenues and funds where winnings are taken from. Now, viewing gambling as a business, this can be so lucrative but if you are just a bettor then don't expect to be a millionaire here. So how to bet addiction? The answer will not be a simple one...maybe there is a big need for an addictive bettor to look into himself/herself and learn to control things and be on top of things. Now this is something wrong that I often encounter, how someone uses gambling as a place to make money which in the end makes them lose a lot of money. I can say that it would be impossible for us to win without great luck coming our way.

Actually for me nobody is an expert when it comes to betting, betting is a game of luck  no analyst can analyze better of to 70% for anyone to win a bet, any bet you stick and you won, just know that luck is on your side that very day. So nobody is a master when it come to betting, just know that betting is  a game of luck.

When a gambler gambles with an addiction to gambling, the results of gambling are more against him because at that time he is not gambling with any thought or right direction but he is gambling with addiction. When a gambler becomes addicted to gambling, it becomes a very difficult thing to get out of that addiction. As long as he can gamble he likes it but when he doesn't have the money to gamble he is seen doing various misdeeds to raise money. It's just that I'm talking about the behaviors of people who are addicted to gambling. But there are many gamblers who have become addicted to gambling and come out of that addiction and quit gambling completely but these things are very difficult and very challenging.
