It is worth to know that bitcoin price today is decreasing, but that does not mean all-time-high is not coming. Do not expect bullrun to start immediately after halving.
This is a wrong mindset of investors especially on newbies.
I've seen threads both here and in Bitcointalk asking other users why the market isn't starting to pump up yet even though the Bitcoin halving event happened already. They think that an "IMMEDIATE" bull run will happen. Their expectations are too high and when their expectation aren't met, they will feel frustrated and will feel negative on the market.

Re: Bitcoin Slips Under $62K as Hong Kong ETFs Disappoint
Like what others said, the HongKong market isn't even comparable to the US market. Their expectations towards ETFs in general is too high that when it didn't get reach, they will feel negative hence, a selling pressure will be created. TBH, I'm leaning more towards the fact that the S&P500 also experienced a market correction, so does the crypto market. I mean the correlation between the two in terms of price movements.

Overall, no need to panic (for those who are panicking because of the correction that happened). Like what they always say, what goes down, goes up and vice-versa.

Someone has said that before and in this year bitcoin has hit all time high twice. At first it hit $70k to surpassed the previous All Time High of $69k and secondly it hit $73k as the second All Time High so if you are saying that we won't see another one again, I would not doubt you because it has been predicted by others too. But many people are still waiting for the prediction of $100,000 All Time High in the year or early next year.
During the bull run in 2021, I really thought that it was at that time where Bitcoin will reach $100,000, but I was completely wrong.
This time, I'm pretty sure that it will reach that price.

I've already heard it multiple times already. This bull market might be the last time, blah, blah blah. I heard it in 2021, and now we are nearing for the bull run to happen yet again. Well, like what you said, many predicted that this might be the last bull market that we will be seeing. I don't think that it will be the last though, and I don't see any reasons as to why there are people who are thinking that this will be the final bull run in the whole crypto space. Anybody can predict though.

They might be correct, they might not. One thing's for sure though. Those who will sell during the bull market that might happen months from now will surely get profit. :D

The oldest coin I've been holding is Bitcoin alone and newer ones are memecoins. I am still hopeful to reach my target to get a whole Bitcoin though I don't have timeframe to really have it but as soon as I have it I'll post it here. It's not that easy to have that challenge knowing that I don't have enough money or weekly Bitcoin income to fill it in but yeah it is the only oldest coin I have for now.
Getting one whole Bitcoin is still possible, but it will depend on this things.
The amount of income that you're getting on a monthly basis, the amount of expenses on a monthly basis, and the amount of money that you're investing.

I guess it's pretty simple. If you're earning $1000/month and you're expenses per month is $500 then you have spare money of $500 and it's up to you now if you will invest all of it or not. If you will invest it all, it will take you at least 10 years (estimating the current price of Bitcoin) to get a whole Bitcoin. Of course that excludes the capital appreciation if you do DCA, but it can be lowered depending on the profits that you're getting.

I'm not quite sure why you prefer holding meme coins instead of other established or old coins out there. I also have a goal of getting a whole Bitcoin, but not my main priority. Profiting off of my investment is my main priority since that's our main goal as an investor. :)

While I agree with what he said where the crypto industry has been the haven for scammers and hackers out there, I just don't like the fact that the SEC doesn't do anything to at least lessen the number of scam incidents. He's just sharing his opinion, but he doesn't do anything to the current problem.

TBH, this is the first time that I will agree with the negative opinion of Gensler towards cryptocurrency. I mean we know already that he's against crypto in general, but he's right on this one. I just hope that he will do something to at least lessen the scam and hack incidents in the industry.

So as an individual how do you plan to have a secured job considering that every job is at risk?
Like the famous quote says, "The trend is your friend."
This is applicable in the market and it's a big help for us investors, but it can also help other people other things as well.

What's the trend right now? AI, right? Right now, many companies are using AI to maximize what they're doing with only minimal effort with minimal number of employees. What's the best thing to do to have a secure job? Leverage AI. Learn how to use AI in order for us to have a job. I know that this technology will affect many industries. From photography to video editing and we've seen tech sectors laying off many employees already because they want to integrate AI with their business because that means lesser employees and lesser cost.

Learning and maximizing the use of AI to our advantage for me is the best way for us to have a secure job. Right now, nobody is safe (aside from those that are in the medical sector) because anytime can lose their job because of this technology.

Do you think that we should now accept the occurrence of these scams and hacks as very normal in the cryptocurrency industry...and what are the things we can do to protect ourselves from them?
A big yes. There's nothing much that we can do about those irresponsible investors out there. We can feed them information, advice, and guides to secure their funds, but if they're irresponsible, it's pretty much useless.

Yearly, billions and billions of dollars are being scammed and hacked by these hackers and scammers in various ways. Right now, these people are continuously evolving, using different and more attractive ways to lure those newbie investors. Even those old ones that are irresponsible are the ones that will fall into these types of scams. Just imagine half a billion dollars have been stolen in just 1 quarter, and by the end of this year, for sure it will reach a billion dollars.

Like I said, providing information to them would be our best way to help them, but that doesn't mean that they will be 100% proof from these scammers. There's nothing we can do about it, but to accept that there will investors that be either scammed or hacked on a yearly basis. Sometimes, letting them experience for at least one time is helpful because from there, they will learn how to adjust and how to be more secure with their funds.

Re: Don't you think launchpool/PoolX is better than staking?
It all depends. I'm doing both staking coins in their native staking platform, and at the same time, joining in Launchpools (in Binance) for additional profits.

Sometimes, calculating things would be a good option as well. I mean staking coins like ATOM which gives 16% APR would always be better than joining in launchpools. Of course, it will also depend on the amount of BNB or BGB that you have because those who have higher BNB or BGB that's been put into the launchpool always have higher rewards compare to those who have lower. It will all comes down to how much money are you using to join in those launchpools.

One thing more is that launchpools isn't staking like what others said. Launchpool is like "give us your BNB and in exchange, we will give you shitcoins :D" Just kidding on shitcoins, but you got the logic anyways.

In case this analysis can be true, then it would be good to just continually hodl and wait as this is not a question of IF but of WHEN. This can be the best time to exercise caution and not be swayed by temporary movements of the market and look for the long-term prospect of Bitcoin.
Why wait if you can still buy more Bitcoin how that we might experience corrections over the next 2 months. :)

I mean if you believe that Bitcoin will reach $100,000 in the upcoming bull run then there's no reason for us to accumulate even more Bitcoin, right? If we believe that a bull run will happen in the next few months, then I don't see any reason why we don't buy not just Bitcoin but other top altcoins as well. Of course, if you have spare funds then you can do this, but if you don't have then follow what OP said.

Hold and wait for your selling targets to be reached. As for me, if this analysis will happen then I'll be good as I'm still continuing to accumulate even more Bitcoins and other top altcoins as well, and I hope all of us here are doing the same as well. :)

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Re: Why do you prefer p2e games?

Re: Why do you prefer p2e games?
Money of course, but that doesn't mean that it's all about money alone.

At least the time that you're spending playing those games is proportional to the money that you're getting or else, you're just wasting your time. Well, if you're enjoying P2E games then money doesn't matter. For some, that's the case. They are enjoying the game that they're spending time with it, and they don't care about the earning aspect of the game anymore. That's not the case for most though.

Axie Infinity is the one that I enjoyed playing the most, and at one point, I didn't care about the money that I'm getting because I'm enjoying playing it. It only comes to a point where my time spending on it isn't worth it (at least for me), and I have things to prioritize than playing it hence, I quitted on it. Many players are still playing it surprisingly, and I commend them.

Solana Forum / Re: Solana Year 2024!!
« on: May 08, 2024, 04:10:11 AM »
Yes, you heard right I think 2024 is the year of Solana because the way this coin is growing right now is really interesting. We have seen the price of many coins including the Bitcoin market moving downwards but Solana's price has not been dumping much but rather it has been rising. Currently we can expect this coin to touch $200 soon, we have seen Solana close to $190. And by 2024 maybe this Solana will increase and it will go up to $300 dollars what do you think? :-*
$200 is a bit conservative IMO. It's previous ATH was around $259, and TBH, $300 is also a bit conservative knowing that it has become more popular these past few months.

Solana's problem which is outages has been happening very rarely already. If I'm not mistaken, what happened a few weeks ago was the first outage that happened to the project this year (correct me if I'm wrong on this one). For me, that shows a bit of improvement on the project already. Also add the numerous projects that are being created under Solana blockchain.

The project's popularity has decreased a bit compared to where it was a few months ago but nevertheless, I believe that SOL will be one of the tokens that will have a huge price increase this year.

They found a replacement for Artur Beterbiev.
Bivol will face Malik Zinad instead. Zinad is 30 year old with a 20-0 record (16 KOs), currently ranked 9th.

https://www.espn.co.uk/boxing/story/_/id/40085057/dmitry-bivol-defend-title-vs-malik-zinad-riyadh
Quite unfortunate that Beterbiev suffered a meniscus injury and will be out for the fight. He will be out until September hence, a replacement is needed. Well, the replacement is also undefeated apparently so it's still a battle of undefeated boxers. I guess let's just see what will happen on this one, and let's expect that whoever win on this match will be the one that Beterbiev will be facing when he comes back in the ring. :)

when Inoue fell,i think everyone who put their money on him must have been standing up and about to say goodbye to their money.
but then he won by KO again. it isn't surprising but Inoue knocked down was more surprising, it kept watching over and over and it sure can be a big hole in his defense. it may just be his fall next if he fights someone on their heavier division.

this is the first time i saw Inoue showboating by the way. i guess that knock down crawled under his skin.
Not for me :D.
I also put some money on him even though the odds on Stake are only 1.20. I didn't expect him to be knocked down on the first round though and just for information, it's his first professional career knockdown but nevertheless, he got his revenge in the 2nd round, and continued to knock Nery down 2 more times until the 6th round.

I think even though it ended up as a decision, it's pretty obvious that Inoue will win on that one just because of how good he is per round. As for his showboating, it's not his first time doing it. He also did it with Stephen Fulton when they faced last time. I mean if you're fighting on your home country with more than 55,000 people watching, at least you need to entertain them a little bit and that's what he did. :D

Damn, I think everyone would agree that nobody expected what the Wolves are doing to the Nuggets right now. No Gobert? No problem (so far). KAT and ANT are playing with great confidence and I don't think the Nuggets can recover from 20+ points with just 1 quarter remaining. Not with Murray and Jokic's poor shooting.
They just got overwhelmed by the suffocating defense of the Timberwolves. I don't know if this is the correct term, but they got exposed in this one. Well, this is why the Wolves have the best defensive rating in the regular season. This is the reason.

TBH, I completely underestimated the Wolves, and I thought that this will end in 5 games at least favoring the Nuggets, but I'm completely wrong. If you're superstar duo is shooting only 8/31 from the field the whole game, there is a problem already. Their 3 main scorers in last series against the Lakers namely Jokic, Murray and MPJ got completely shut down in the first 2 games. Gordon, who isn't an offensive threat, is their top scorer with 20 points.

With what we saw in Game 2, I will not be surprised anymore if this will end up in a sweep or at least in a gentlemen sweep (5 games). Kind of disappointing if you're a Nuggets fan, but that's how good the Timberwolves is in terms of defense.

Do you think that in the coming 10 years from now, Sol token will still be as, or more valuable as it is today, and the Solana block chain still be relevant and useful to and for the crypto community?

Let's discuss about this if you don't mind.
Yes it is, and the project isn't revolving around meme coins at all. It's just that, WIF token that's made on SOL blockchain became popular for some unknown reasons hence, it created a chain reaction and we've seen many new meme coin projects that are being created under Solana.

I'm not a holder of Solana, but I believe that it has established itself as one of the top coins right now. I don't want to predict to a project after 10 years because that's way too long. What I would say is that, like many other L2's out there, Solana will be used as well by developers as their blockchain where they can deploy their projects. That is if outages will not happen anymore because it still happens, but nevertheless, I'm pretty bullish about the project.

With this, I believe that more new projects will be made under Solana. Maybe we might see new AI, RWA, NFT gaming or other categories that will be made under Solana in the future.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Now is the best time to purchase Litecoin.?
« on: May 05, 2024, 05:38:29 PM »
The whole crypto market has crashed. Sadly the market has deteriorated a lot. The price of every coin has gone down. At the same time, the price of Litecoin has gone down a lot. So far, the price of Litecoin has dropped to a low of 162.47 dollars. Where we saw Litecoin crossing 410 dollars.

So I guess, now might be the best time to buy Litecoin.
If you have a difference of opinion, you can express it without hesitation.
I believe the crash that happened to Litecoin was the crash of price that happened around 2021 when bitcoin and other altcoins reached their ATH and began to experience a price decline, months later after their ATH.

I believe, there are investors who might invest in Litecoin because they thought that Litecoin would cross $410 again after it got reduced to $162.47 as of January 2021 when this post was made. While they didn't know that it wouldn't be so, and Litecoin wouldn't skyrocket to a higher expected price again till when another bull run will take place. Which we are expecting it to be between this year and next year when a higher price of $600-$1000 can happen.
If you predict the price of Litecoin will reach $600-1000 next year, isn't that a high expectation because the current price of Litecoin is $81. but anything can happen, I still hold Litecoin but I will sell it at $200. because I have made a profit from that price
The reason why I predicted the price of Litecoin to reach $600-$1000k is because the last bull run skyrocketed Litecoin to a price of $412. However, it is possible to assume that Litecoin could give a price above its last ATH since it is believed that each bull run gives a new ATH above its previous ones. It is understandable for one to expect a higher price of Litecoin when bitcoin skyrockets to $100k above.

It is your choice if you want to sell your Litecoin at $200, as for me, I am selling when Litecoin has gone higher than its previous ATH. I believe it will soon. The $81 it is currently, will be a thing of the past
Like you, I also believed that Litecoin will be at a top for a long time, but when Charlie Lee moved himself away from the project and sold all of his Litecoin holdings, that's when the sh*t happens.

I'm not saying that the project is a sh*t and in fact, it's one of the oldest coins that are currently existing. What I'm saying is that, the project has been out in the limelight for years and we rarely hear any update about the project. It's good that there's still community behind it hoping for the best for the project, but no update at all? Nobody's talking about the project anymore, and we barely hear anything about it, and it's upgrades.

I'm not bearish with the project at all, but with these reasons, TBH I don't think that it will surpass it's previous ATH. Litecoin will be like EOS in my opinion. EOS reached it's ATH during the 2017 bull run, and it didn't surpass on the last bull run in 2021. I believe Litecoin will do the same as well. Anyway, your opinion is your opinion and so does mine. As long as you make profit off of it then it's all good. :)
