Great work everyone who earned most karma in month of April, keep doing what you are doing.
I see some familiar faces of members who worked on projects that improve life in forum, PX-Z is one of them on the top.
Numbers would be better if admin could increase how many karmas we could send to members.

Dis you not see the Sherrif? making everyone's life better is what I do and to make use the law takes it channel. Can't be compared to what the magician PX-Z is doing at a very short period but it's worth giving my division an accolades too. Don't you think so  ;D

You wont see many good casinos advertised in altcoinstalk forum until gambling board doesnt improve.
Casinos are much more active in bitcointalk and things are working better there for now.
This forum is best for services that are banned in bitcointalk  ;D

The gambling board is dusty, and I feel like I'm conversing with some random ChatGPT Chatbots wearing signature and avatar. They are so ignorant and have nothing to say; they know nothing about sports. I prefer to talk football in self-moderated threads, which I don't see here. I will not return unless I see some high-quality discussion.

If gambling discussion board isn't lively enough, believe me, no major casino will advertise here.

Those are historical posts whether low and high quality it's part of Altcointalk journey and it does not in any way affects your participation on the forum neither does it slow the server. It's not every stone that the admin is going to lift. This is like telling theymos go delete old bounty threads from the bounty section - not going to work.

Our actively points are attached to the number of posts so let it be.

The officials were appointed/elected by the government and represented the Nigeria government in this capacity so it's safer to say the "Nigeria Government" there's no other way to label it. Could be members from the EFCC, CBN or any other agencies.

They needed that bribe to make the case go away tells you how powerful those officials are. They're Nigeria government officials there's no two ways to sugar coat it. Imo
Just like I posted earlier, it is the government officials and not the government.

It is better to differentiate between the government and its officials. Read the bold part. The government is different from government officials and I quoted that to correct it. The government is not asking for bribe from Binance, it is the some of the government officials that did that underground.

This is not sugarcoat or anything but what it should be referred to. Nigerian government will not ask for bribe from Binance, they will ask for a fine.

This is more like "EFCC detained Binance executives" and NOT the Nigeria government. Onebody care who did it as long as it's a ministry working for the Nigerian government it's always going to be " Nigerian government detained Binance executives" and not "EFCC detained Binance executives" if one of the ministry heading the case approach Binance for bribe what the media is going to tag is "Nigeria approached Binance for bribe" did you read the memo from the ministry of Information and orientation ?

Go and read it...

After Binance, it was OKX after CBN denied having plan to illegalize bitcoin and other crypto naira P2P trading.
Three days later, we still await enforcement? I am tired of this government, They should do what they like, and we will still find a way.

Telegram is already making their wallet that has a P2P section popular, and apps like WhatsApp will follow. There will be higher risks, but just as we always do, we will find a way to make it work.

We made Centralized p2p worked- there were multiple p2p scams on centralized exchanges in the early 2017-2018 and we still make it work so I'm sure we would make anywhere we found ourselves work at this point. Everyone just want to trade and only little numbers want to scam but as usual with time the system will flush them away.  2 or 3 reports and they're gone.

They're after the biggest market so Bybit is likely their next destination if at they're not already on their neck.

Or we could jump up to 111k by June 1

Don't lock into short term. move to 2025 and beyond

I've never been so convinced of $100k in the next cycle but after looking at this price chart I think $100k is minimum,.I think we're heading to $200k. I don't see anything stopping it.

Our government can be very cunny you know, they might just frame up such lies to make us believe in them, whereas they did nothing. Why will Nigeria government ask for bribe from Binance instead of them to think on how they can regulate these exchanges benefitting from Nigerians.
I tried to let people under that we should not refer to the government directly but to the government officials. The officials make up the government but regarding this, government officials should be referred to. Bribery is one of the reasons this country is not good.

Imo

How about the executive that fled to Kenya that was arrested? Has he been sent back to Nigeria?

I'm not sure if the news of his arrest was true or if it was simply another piece of government propaganda designed to trick everyone into believing that they're genuinely functioning when they aren't. Extraditing someone from one country to another does not take that long. So either the FG government lied about the arrest, or the Kenyan government is unwilling to hand up its citizens to the Nigerian government.

The Binance CEO further said that some Nigerian government officials approached Binance and asked them to pay a bribe to resolve the situation.  This suggests that if Binance had paid the bribe, the Naira would still be trading on its platform. Binance was not the problem afterall, the country is moving bad.

This has also been a way some people are using P2P even when there was no problem. But the ads I still saw on telegram is not also favorable. You can compare it with Bybit:

Telegram left and Bybit at the right.

Although it support USDT which is an advantage. Most decentralized exchanges are not supporting USDT.

I hope this rate will change for better if centralizedP2P are truly banned. Some people are interacting with both centralized exchanges and decentralized exchanges to make money which makes us see unfair rates.

Those appeared to be bot Marchants created by the exchange to drive traffic to the site while failing to alter the rates to match the current black market rate.  Did you check when those rates were set? It may be months ago.

The question now is: how many Nigerians trade in Bitcoin? The majority of trades are in USDT. The last Bitcoin drop was not beneficial for their business. One of my guys lost over 5 million Naira, and he has never left his holdings in Bitcoin since. He is a day trader, therefore I don't blame him.

I've been hearing a lot about the P2P issue in Nigeria, with many banks sending notifications to their users to stop transacting on P2P or risk being banned. I'm left wondering what the solution is to this problem. As Nigerians, we always find a way, but I'd also like to know if there are alternative platforms available.

The alternative I see is our former Way of trading p2p way back in 2016 when most of us came into the game and that's via Whatsapp and telegram.

There's a wallets in telegram that carries p2p sure that's would be the way out. Only few people would go to use Decentralized exchanges.

Site not working....
Everything is working for me and everyone else, so you must have some problem, and I am surprised that you didnt here Noones p2p exchange.
Maybe your government is blocking their website so try using VPN to access with different IP address.

They have google store app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=team.noones.mobilemessenger&hl=en
X account: https://twitter.com/noonesapp

I guess I'm blocked from accessing the site cause the app is working perfectly from here, I just signed up, love the pixel interface and the owner is former Paxful CEO. He's a lover of Nigeria he's been here several times and keep promoting the culture.

The last 24hrs Naira p2p trading volume is $759k that's not bad for a site not too popular here. A very simple KYC too. Thanks
