It is false to accuse demo games for something, as each gambler is an individuality and searches in gambling only what is interesting to him. This is the same blind accusation, as saying that video games motivate people for violence. That after playing shooters, people would go on the street and start shooting people like they did in video games.

To me those two are kind of different - I have played demo game and watched action movie and I know that both of them don’t give off the same vibes.

For example, when dealing with a demo account in a gambling site; the algorithm is built in a way that the player experiences more wins than losses and if it’s someone who doesn’t know how it works or it’s just new to gambling they might think that if they try the real game they’ll be able to achieve the same result. To me, that’s how I feel Demi could bring about irresponsible gambling.

But I still agree with you though, someone who’s stupid and irresponsible falls under the category I described anove while those that know what they are doing won’t fall for it.

Fact: I don't use any kind of casino or gambling related apps, nor do I ever search for this kind of stuff. So this is totally irrelevant to my advertisement preference. But it still showed up.

This happens, if a site pays more than other then they might decide to push their ads more than that of the rest even if the audience doesn’t like or do anything related to gambling that way the 1xbet might decide to keep their ads running for a long time.

For example, I’m currently using an iOS device and still there are times when I get ads that are related to apps that can only be downloaded on an android device. It’s just who’s paying more.

Regarding security, can you find free wallets and on which sites, enough to not be stolen during transactions, for example?

The fact that you’re asking this type of question means you need to do more reading about wallet and know the difference between wallet and exchanges, which one to go for and also what to look out for when choosing a wallet or an exchange. The dos and donts, etc.

General Discussion / Re: Have you won anything online?
« on: April 28, 2024, 11:10:48 AM »

Let's hear your awesome and not so awesome experiences?

I have been lucky enough to have won three different contests.

The first two was in Bitcointalk and the contest was organized by BCGAME, it’s a prediction contest and the price was $50, I am still unsure how I was able to pull that off but I still did.

The last one I won was in altcoinstalk, it’s was a raffle organized by Unijoin, and I managed to get the correct number - although the price is still on its way to me - I am still actively tracking it until it gets to my destination.

That’s all, three different contests and writing this post just makes me realize how lucky I have been.

Don't we have addicted gamblers who belong to one religion or the other who are addicted to gambling? I am asking this because we still have addicted gamblers who would worship at their various religious body on Sunday or Saturday and still find their way back to gambling house days that follow.

There are many people who claim to be a part of a religion but don’t follow the teachings of that religion they are just there for the sake joining a religion nothing more - if they followed the teachings they won’t have entered into gambling in the first place due to the fact that most religions are against gambling. But for those that have are already in gambling and are addicted, If they make it known to their brethren they might be able to find a solution for them but if it’s kept bottled up it might not work.

Just to hear the opinions from the individuals about what they lookout for granting positive or Negative Karma. For example if you see a guide which could be helpful then you grant +1, when you see a reply that gives the actual answer for the query of topic starter and like that.

Mine is not that complicated - I simply just check if your post has contributed anything to an ongoing discussion or if you’re just there to echo what has been said a thousand times in that thread just to cover your weekly quota.

There are times when I don’t make reply to a thread and yet still give people karma in that thread, there’s no fixed criteria for me just be on point and I’ll release the karma to you - as simple as that.

OK, thank you very much for this heads up, since you tried and didn't experience the same thing, I am believing it's an issue from my end as you said, it also occurred to me right now to tried the same in my mobile chrome, I just did now and the verification was passed one time, so, I am assuming the issue is with my pc's chrome software..

That “verify that you’re a human” page does pop up once in a while (most especially when I’m using my laptop) but never have I experienced it being stuck as you mentioned, it usually moves to my desired page the moment I check the box and I also have some extensions installed (it might not same as yours though).

Most times when I’m having issues with a site I usually just clear cache as mentioned above and sometimes it works or uninstall the browser (in extreme cases) and reinstall it again to see if it changes anything and they have been working for me - I’m not sure if it will be the same for you.

Maybe there are people who can become rich, but the number is very small, and those who can become rich from gambling are not users but those who have businesses in gambling. I myself have suffered more losses than wins, and even if I win, the amount may only be able to recover the amount of my losses, or even not cover it at all.

Casino owners are the ones who are making the most of gambling - Just as you said, it is very difficult to see a normal gambler who would walk out from gambling after hitting big (only a few lucky ones have been able to do it), while some still went back into gambling hoping to hit bigger jackpots but later ended up with nothing.

I am not using 1XBIT but I have tested it and I know they have many sister casinos with same design and same confusing interface.
I never liked how their system of deposits and withdrawal is working, and I know other members accused them for scamming.
Someone should make a list of all casino suspected to be connected with 1XBIT.

There are more? wow, this is news to me as I have never read anything like this in the other forum - I know for sure that 1xbet and 1xbit are controlled by the same entity but it has never crossed my mind to do more research on them to figure out if they have other sites that they have also established to extend their scamming activities.

I'll take a look at bttk to see if there's a thread  that has already pointed out other gambling sites that were created by the owner of 1xbit.

Good to see MixTum here, literally, the 4 days period is required for the transaction issues to be resolved as addresses will be deleted?
What if transaction issues were not resolved before the window period, what happens to the auto deletion of address?

If you take your time to go through the Op you’d see that all your questions have been answered there. Read the Op first before you start asking questions about things you don’t understand.

How long do addresses for funds transfer remain valid?

They remain valid for 7 days. This period is sufficient to address any network issues, delays and human errors that may occur, thus guaranteeing safety of customer's assets. Anyway, in all cases an address lifetime for every request is captured in a letter of guarantee provided by the MixTum.io platform.

But when you participate in real life you will find that you mostly lose nothing like playing the demo game. But demo games will help you learn how to play the game and how to win at the bet. Only you can gain experience but if you play in real life it will be totally based on luck.

The sole reason for demo games is for users to learn how to play or learn how that game works but if you get carried away and let the number of wins you’ve made deceive you that you would be able to replicate that same amount if you try the real game you’ll only end up with nothing.

In my previous post I explained how a newbie can be lured into gambling by demo and how they can also be confused or engaged in bad gambling habits due to demo games cause there are some who might have encountered demo game and therefore decide to go in with money that does not belong to them because they were able to maintain a good number of wins during the demo session.

Please can you enlighten me more on This, how many Blockchain does this Mixers support?

Currently it supports only bitcoin but in the future more will be added to it - Ethereum, Litecoin and the rest would be added to it very soon.

I've come across this before now, I couldn't make out what it means. This is the first time I'm paying full attention to it. I'll be waiting for your response.

Unijoin is a mixer, and what it does basically is to help you restore anonymity to your fund (bitcoin) -  if you want to know more about unijoin and how it works or how to operate it then I’d suggest you go through this link - if you have any question or you’re confused about anything else after going through the link I shared with you, feel free to ask your question here and we’ll be more than happy to answer you.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Cryptocurrency good or bad for loan?
« on: April 25, 2024, 01:24:08 PM »
Applying for a loan for cryptocurrency trading is wrong.

I don’t know if the Op ever went ahead with his idea of borrowing loan to invest in crypto but he should be aware that it’s not something that’s advisable to do - and besides, it’s has been echoed more than a million times “invest what you can afford to lose” money gotten from a bank as a loan is not something that one can afford to lose and putting that money into crypto sounds pretty stupid to me (except you decide to go all in on bitcoin).
