I agree, that looked very odd.
But was he really afraid of staring Usyk face-to-face? I don't think so, probably was just an idea that popped up in his mind at that moment. Or maybe he's just trying to get into Usyk's head by ignoring his presence etc, and make Oleksandr approach the fight too emotionally.

I think pressuring hard and swarming Jake with punches from the first minute could be a good game plan for Tyson, not the other way around. He still has a lot of power, but he must be lacking in stamina at his age.

No. Encouraging kids to gamble is not a good idea.
And what do you consider "responsible gambling"? Losing manageable amounts of money on a regular basis? That's what you want to teach kids in schools?

They should be taught how the process of addiction work, how the human brain works, what the dopamine rush is, and how to cope when you find yourself addicted (to gambling or anything else).

One of the most interesting games in the last round could be Union Berlin playing at home against Freiburg.
Union will be desperately trying to escape the relegation zone. Currently, they are 2 points behind the 15th Mains, who will be playing an away game against Wolfsburg, and 3 points behind Bochum (who have a worse goal difference than Union).
If Mainz or Bochum lose and if Union wins, the Berlin team will escape relegation.
Freiburg is currently 8th, but if they defeat Union and if Bayern wins against Hoffenheim, they will jump into the 7th place which will grant them a spot in the Conference League qualifiers next season. So both teams have a lot at stake here.

Strangely enough, both, Union Berlin and Mainz are favourites in their respective matches. Oddsmakers seem to believe that the fear of relegation can do wonders. We'll find out soon.

I don't think Tom's injury in their first fight warranted any rematch, but Blaydes was simply the best option available. Obviously Cyril Gane was ranked higher, but according to Tom's video:
he was not interested in fighting in Manchester on that date as allegedly it collided with his acting commitments. So Curtis it is.
I'm really glad to see that Aspinall wants to stay active and is not avoiding fights with fighters ranked below him. And having the chance to avenge his only loss (if you can call it that) is always a plus.

A fun fact, if adjusted for inflation, Bitcoin has not yet broken the previous ATH.
According to this article (from March 2024): https://truflation.com/blog/sober-truth-bitcoins-real-all-time-high-is-76-623 the previous ATH of $69,044.77 (Nov 2021), when adjusted for inflation is an equivalent of $76,623.74 in today's money (or March's money).

I think it's a good idea to focus more on the actual value (i.e. purchasing power) instead of looking at the nominal figures only. It helps put things in perspective, especially when comparing prices in 4-year cycles.

That's 4 wins in a row for Chelsea, but they've woken up a little bit too late to attack the 5th place. Spurs only need 1 point against Sheffield to secure it.
The good news for Chelsea is that they will still qualify for European cup next season (if they don't lose their 6th place to Newcastle in the last round), it's going to be the least prestigious Conference League, but better than nothing.
BUT, if Man City defeats Man Utd in the FA cup final, then the 6th place will qualify for the Europa League and the 7th for the Conference League, so there's still something to play for for teams currently placed 6th-8th.

It was a cheap move by the old man, it didn't seem like there was any real provocation, other than Usyk's team chanting his name.
You'd expect a little bit more restraint and self-control from a man of his age, instead he acted as an overly emotional teenager. Sucker headbutting non-aggressive and much smaller guy won't bring him any glory, not to mention that he seemed to suffer more damage than the Ukrainian lad, who btw gave an interview later on and wasn't too bothered by the situation.
I don't think Saudis would take any action, given the guy who got headbutted is unlikely to report it.

I was getting worried a bit for Man City after the goalless first half when there wasn't much going on and Tottenham was leading in ball possession. But they didn't disappoint and managed to pull a win. The luck was on their side as Tottenham had some good chances to equalise, especially Son's 1 on 1 situation after the shameful mistake by City's defence.

So, almost certainly, Man City will be celebrating a successful defence of the league championship at their last game at home against West Ham. I can't imagine they could not win this one.

It also looks like Haaland secured the Golden Boot trophy, as he now has 6 goals advantage over 2nd Cole Palmer.

As for Tottenham, they buried their chances of getting to the 4th place, but their 5th spot is almost secured. All they have to do is earn at least 1 point against the last Sheffield, who only has 3 wins in the entire season.

It's going to be an intensive week for Leverkusen: the last league game on Sat 18th, Europa League final on Wed 22nd and the DFB Pokal final on Sat 25th to finish the season off.
They could rest the key players in the league game but there's a risk attached to that. If Leverkusen were to lose to Augsburg and end their games without loss run, that could crush the team spirit just before the EL final.

Atalanta is in a bit tougher spot when it comes to resting time. They play the Copa Italia final against Juventus and then an away league game against Lecce on Saturday. And their 5th place in the league is still not secured, so they have to approach it seriously.

Tomorrow is the day the Premier League title will pretty much be decided. If Man City wins against Tottenham in London, they'd almost certainly win the league, but if there's a draw or if Tottenham wins, Arsenal would likely be crowned the champions.
Simply, apart from tomorrow's game, both Man City and Arsenal have only relatively easy games at home, against West Ham and Everton respectively, none of whom have any strong motivation to win.

Odds for tomorrow are:
Tottenham: x7.20
Draw: x5.70
Man City: 1.38

Odds for winning the league:
Man City: 1.36
Arsenal: 3.20
