Bitcoin will continue to grow over time, but this will not make Bitcoin the main currency, because the FIAT currency will continue to circulate and will not disappear, Bitcoin will only be a solution to facilitate transactions and Bitcoin will become an Investment.  The popularity of Bitcoin will certainly not always go up, and will continue to change anyway but Bitcoin will not die.

Bitcoin will survive the next decade, it’s changed the financial system forever. Governments are now talking about implementing state-sponsored cryptocurrencies for payments.

In the cryptocurrency as a whole, I see a good future, as this is a new technology that brings certain conveniences to people. However, if Bitcoin does not further develop along with the general pace of cryptocurrency development, then over time its popularity will inevitably fade. As an alternative means of payment, bitcoin has not yet taken place. With the advent of stable coins, this may never happen. In addition, most altcoins have already overtaken bitcoin in their development. Time, of course, will tell.
