My choice is Bitcoin. It is the most popular and valuable coin than others. Bitcoin is leading crypto currencies to present better payments via cryptos. I am not doubt to choose Bitcoin for my favorite coin.

Depends on usage if in my opinion.

Bitcoin is used for pairs with FIat because when I profit from trading cryptocurrency I always exchange between Bitcoin and Fiat.
Ethereum is used to use ICO.
Stellar is used for arbitration because the fees are cheap and pretty fast to send to other exchanges.

bitcoin is indeed the King of cryptocurrency, he always occupied the top spot, and never mind the bitcoin is very popular, but other than that I still put my hopes on the ethereum, given my current coins are the dominant ethereum.

Indeed Bitcoin is the king of crypto but I prefer Ethereum because in addition to transactions, Ethereum I also use to buy ICO and gas, and I also trade using ethereum and Bitcoin, because both are kings, Bitcoin is king of crypto and Ethereum is king of Altcoin.
