I don't think so. After the huge pumps of last quarter last year (which was never seen before also), this was expected. Many newbies that entered the market before are being shaken out now.

This is normal for cryptocurrency to hit low on the first quarter of the year, the market is very much volatile and the correction is necessary to make the market cap more reliable and make the cryptocurrency stable on the trading exchanges. We will expect more of a similar situations but I guess cryptocurrency is much alive!

No its not dead. Its just normal to any currency either fiat or digital. But in case of crypto its more volatile compared to fiat. The sudden price drop is highly expected since its digital money we are talking to. The only green ones remaining not affected are those coin and token with low total supply.

Yes! cryptocurrency is not dead at all. What we are experiencing is just a normal market price fluctuations which is caused by certain fastors like the demand and supply principles, trade speculation, media influence etc.
I think cryptos is the future of money and this is one the reasons there are new start-up projects springing up on allmost every month.

I don't understand the meaning of "dead" in your statement. If it refers to the crash/dump of the cryptocurrency's price, take a look back into couple years back. There will always be a fluctuation of price happening in the market, and that keeps increasing each year. And yet, this technology is still new, it needs a lot of time before it can reach the top.

It wasn't dead in fact it is very active. For me that is part of crypto life sometimes it goes in different ways and sometimes it goes in another ways that everyone looks like amaze and thinking what's going on! The reason for the panic and the way people are withdrawing their monies is as a result of most governments wanting to break down the system of cryptocurrencies due to the fact that they lack absolute control on the finances of crypto users. Also these governments are not able to tax cryptocurrencies. But the bitter truth is that they cannot destroy crypto because the huge level assets on crypto can not just shut down at an instant. This because of the news that korea create a hack program to get in cryptocurrencies and stole huge amounts of crypto, that is why we cannot blame investors to pull out their holdings for security purposes, but when it’s over then it will recover.
