Title: Paper Money vs. Digital Currency
Post by: CryptoFriend on January 22, 2021, 08:39:47 AM
The majority of people in the world believe in paper money. They believe it is used to buy and sell goods and services. A currency that is physically visible to the world.
But the world to come is the world of digital currency. Because it's an easy and reliable way to send and receive money anywhere in the world. We can send or receive money in minutes.
But there is a big difference between the two currencies.
Therefore, it is very difficult to adopt digital currency worldwide. Because consumers are not familiar with this new technology and they are not willing to use this payment method. Because they still don't believe in this technology.
So, how do we persuade people to adopt digital currency?

90% of the people in our country believe in paper money. However, if the new generation is aware of cryptocurrency, everyone believes that cryptocurrency may be the opposite of money in the future. This means that cryptocurrency can take the place of paper currency for transactions.

I see a lot of popularity of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin transactions in particular are on the rise. Although the government of the country does not give place to cryptocurrency in the economy, cryptocurrency plays a huge role in the economy. That means cryptocurrencies occupy 30% of the space in the economy.

Cryptocurrency will be used against paper currency in any country. People around the world will believe in digital transactions. When will the virtual currency Bitcoin be used the most.

Paper money is subject to inflation, so it is better to transfer it into more valuable assets, for example, cryptocurrency is a more valuable asset, it tends to rise in price. Therefore, I vote for cryptocurrency.

Current developments lead to this, whether we realize it or not gradually everything will change, as before gold was used as a transaction tool because it was considered unsafe to carry gold everywhere (prone to being robbed).  And then use paper money as a transaction tool with a gold backup (although I personally doubt this) and now digital money will replace paper money because paper money is vulnerable to inflation.

Paper money will continue to dominate as long as there are nation states and governments are powerful enough to enforce their laws. Fiat currencies exist because the alternatives, such a gold, ultimately failed to meet the demands of the modern world. Bitcoin is similar to gold, but actually worse in the supply is even more constrained.

In the next 10 years, we are unlikely to switch to digital currency. The dominance of paper money is too great, in my opinion, it should take at least 50 years for society to accept digital money and abandon paper money.

Bitcoin and paper currency will be used equally in the future, Bitcoin will be used by modern people who are looking for the convenience of being able to transact, while traditional people will still choose paper money.

I think it needs more time to adapt and use cryptocurrencies because it was involving a lot of reasons like regulations, availability of the existing technologist and infrastructure thats why it's obvious that the paper money still widely use until theses days but in the near future I believe it will happen for sure.

It will be always debatable about the effectiveness of paper money and digital currency. But I can say if we cannot leave paper money at all. Why not if we have both paper money and digital currency? I think they will complete one another if we have both paper money and digital currency. We cannot rely on digital currency only, it needs the internet. While we know not all places in the world can access the internet. Also, not in all situations that the digital currency can be better to use.

I don't think you really can persuade a person to change from what they've set their heart to, you can only let or allow them to see and make that decision themselves when ever they feel the time is right for them to.
The best way to bring more people into using digital currencies is for we that are already using it to start accepting it as a means of payment amongst ourselves, and if possible, we can make our primary form of payment for good and services where if anyone walks into your business area, you tell them you no longer accept fiat currencies but digital currencies, and if this same person walks into another store, and they tell him or her the same thing, such person whether young or old would want to know what this digital currencies are and how he or she can own some of it, in this process, more and more people will discover the new form of money and start using it.

This sounds like a comment coming out from a layman. You can't just make money in circulation to mimick the features of crypto, it's going to end up as a disaster if we go through that process.
How will you measure the price of goods peg with crypto, not ideal at all.  :D

Paper Money and Bitcoin have their respective advantages, but in my opinion paper money is more trusted by the public even though paper money has many shortcomings when compared to Bitcoin.  Bitcoin is more suitable for investing or trading, because it cannot be done with paper money.  The potential for profit is much greater if we invest in Bitcoin rather than holding large amounts of banknotes for a long time.

Why they believe more in fiat or paper money is because it is a habit. This has been conducted and used for years ago and they are used for daily activities. Many people use more fiat or [aper money than digital currency. Digital currency is new and not all people are using them or common with the digital currency

They believe in paper money because everyone uses it and the country supports it with regulations, digital money will sooner or later be used all over the world, because technology development is getting faster, economic activity will also develop.
Cryptocurrency offers financial freedom, which is why many people believe that cryptocurrency will be massively adopted in the future.

The new generation of people are more prone to adopt new technology and that is where change can start. In convincing people to go for digital, there is no need to impose it on them because eventually the convenience and speed in using digital money can be enough for them to take a look and maybe try. Now, it does not mean that paper money will really be gone for good because there are remote place and people who may have a hard time adopting the same all because digital money is using technology whereas paper money is not. So what I am seeing is that soon we can see digital and paper money to be two choices for anyone to use and I am sure soon people will have these two options at hand.

Cashless payments have existed before and they always came with cash. The digitized currencies of states will be more convenient to use, but they will not be able to completely displace paper money from circulation. Sometimes there is a need to complete quick household transactions and one of the parties may not always have the technical means to complete it. In addition, it is necessary to understand that non-cash payments are always full government control over the spending of your money. I personally do not want to always go under such a financial cap.

Before paper money, we were familiar with the barter system and coins in gold.
This happened because in the past there were no banknotes or fiat currency.
If we look at the current blockchain system and technology, we can wait patiently to see the financial system and transactions and digital currencies will happen, all that takes time and the payment system cycle will always change over time.

I also have the same view, but in today's systems and technology we need an adequate source of electricity and resources, in the future we will see that everything can be done with 1 click, but all systems will have flaws, we will look at paper currency and digital currencies can be used together.

In the 90's most people used copper and silver coins. At present evolution has resulted in paper money. Paper coins are used for shopping in various shopping malls. 99% of people believe in paper money. But now virtual currencies are traded. Virtual currency transactions do not require a third party or bank. The transaction is convenient. So the transactions for different organizations and export imports. In those transactions, bitcoin is traded using blockchain technology.

You don't need to persuade people to use digital currency, the most important thing to start using digital currency is to make people around the world able to use smart technology that is currently available. that way people will begin to understand the more practical and concise use of digital currency. without understanding the use of technology we will find it difficult to use digital currency.

Yes, I have seen applications such as modes of transportation and online shop platforms have digital payment methods using stable money such as USDT.
There are many payment options on various trading and transportation platforms, but now crypto has entered into an important component of the transaction system, with its transparency, the Paypal company is willing to buy Bitcoin because they see that there are many crypto users who use Bitcoin for transactions, now we are can send and make transactions using Bitcoin on paypal.

I don't think the use of paper money is very important. People around the world are now more confident in virtual transactions. Everyone is benefiting by virtual transactions. In other words, it is possible to transact a lot of assets in a very short time. The third does not require any authority. So virtual transactions are now popular. Paper currency transactions are declining.

Some country paper money suffers what they call inflation due to lack of value so therefore the value depreciate in value, while digital currency have what we call internal value despite that it's anonymous and volitility but if you have the valueable crypto project that has long time investment plan it Will be more better than some country paper money.

I think we need a comparison to see future trends:
Crypto:
+ Advantages: transparent, safe, decentralized, cheap transaction cost, high speed, no intermediaries required;
+ Disadvantage: requires modern equipment & internet. Legal issues that threaten the power of governments.

Fiat:
+ Advantages: Government issue & value guaranteed. Easily accessible to everyone.
+ Disadvantage: devaluation, lack of transparency, easy to be counterfeited.

As such, crypto will become a trend for users with conditions and in countries that are open to crypto. And fiat will continue to exist in developing countries and reach normal people, who don't have chance to use smart devices and internet.

In certain circumstances paper money is certainly important, but this is where we must understand, paper money and digital money are both we need, because in certain circumstances we need one of them to facilitate transactions.
As an example for transactions between countries, of course we will choose digital money because it is very easy to use,
but when formal transactions require using paper money, of course we will use paper money instead of digital money.

The most striking difference between cryptanages and paper money is that cryptic payments are only available digitally, while paper money exists in physical form.
Paper currency currencies are central, cryptic decentralized. While a central authority (banknote) exists in the paper money system and prints money, there is no such central authority in cryptic currency. There is no bitcoin bank or the like.

Instead, cryptures are based on the blockchain , a kind of decentralized database that stores all the financial transactions that have ever been done.

The good thing about using digital money among many other things will be the speed and security (that is always a variable) of use it has. The bad as always depends on who issues that digital money, it will be the governments of each country, and that is the worst, we will once again be at the mercy of their control over our funds, and I think that's the first thing to avoid for there to really be a change.

People are already quite actively switching to non-cash forms of payments. I see no point in speeding up this process. And it is also dangerous to completely switch to digital payments. We don't need such extremes. Cash and non-cash money have their own advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, they must continue to walk in parallel. Let everyone choose the most convenient payment method depending on the specific situation.

To convince the world that they use cryptocurrency, at the moment, in my opinion, it is impossible, because everyone is used to ordinary forms of payment. I think this moment will come, but not soon, first of all, the state should accept the cryptocurrency.

The factor for everything is this, because the factor of acceptance of this cryptocurrency is really difficult for the country.
The country concerns everyone's life so there is no way that cryptocurrency will be accepted by everyone, except maybe cryptocurrency is a stable coin.
It is very risky if a country accepts cryptocurrency to pay in its country because of its uncertain price.

Why I feel digital money will find it difficult to gain mass adoption (less than 30% of the world population uses cryptocurrencies) is because, most coins have  cap and are not very tradable in small units.Who would want to exchange his bitcoin for food, knowing very well that bitcoin is limited in number. Also we need to have a way of dealing with the ever changing price of most cryptocurrencies.Imagine getting paid your salary in bitcoin?.whose price flunctuates daily. If only there was a method to ensure the price of good and services are reflective of the changes in the value of the cryptocurrency used in purchasing them,it would be nice.
Lastly,I feel there should be little evidence to trace a transaction between two people. For instance Mr A sends bitcoin to Mr B,it would aid mass adoption if Mr A can have a receipt or something to signify he indeed sent something to Mr B in case of disputes that may arise.

Paper money is old and traditional so people have come to trust it over the years. Digital money/cryptocurrency is more popular among the Millenials because they are born in the age of digital revolution so it's easier for the younger generation to embrace it.

Mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies will take a lot of effort via massive awareness/education, simplification of UX/UI of dApps, and some form of regulation of the space.

The process of phasing out paper money with digital currencies will be gradual and should not be pushed. In addition, paper money will still remain in the foreseeable future and will run in parallel with digital.
It should also be borne in mind that the concept of digital money is also different. States, it seems, will practically all issue their national digitized central bank currencies and this will change the world a lot. They will combine the benefits of conventional and digital money. Let's see what happens.

Paper money is subject to inflation, so it is better to transfer it into more valuable assets, for example, cryptocurrency is a more valuable asset, it tends to rise in price. Therefore, I vote for cryptocurrency.

Yes, you're right, paper money is subject to inflation. But  I think the government will control the inflation.  Digital currency is unpredictable and high on volatility, I think government will not accept crypto currency to replace their fiat money. But If you want to get profit, you can invest in crypto.

That is another negative point, the rural areas far from the population centers. As you are commenting in rural areas, banks are not interested in putting ATMs due to the high cost of the service and the little use that citizens will give it, but it must also be borne in mind that in most rural areas there are no Internet connection, at least in my country. And without internet connections, citizens of those areas won't be able to use cryptocurrencies either, so the problem is twofold, the lack of infrastructure and the ignorance of cryptocurrencies.

But the world to come is the world of digital currency. Because it's an easy and reliable way to send and receive money anywhere in the world. We can send or receive money in minutes.

Unfortunately, the current cryptocurrency is not yet an easy and reliable way to manage our finances. To learn how to work with cryptocurrency, you need to spend quite a decent amount of time, and this is what people do not want or cannot afford. Many make various mistakes and because of this, they lose access to their wallets and their cryptocurrency. It certainly scares people off.
The transition to the use of digital currency should occur gradually and as it improves. This process is lengthy and not for one generation.

There will be no need for persuasion, more People will still come around to use the digital currency, that is cryptocurrency but this will be only those that have the knowledge to do so because like we all know, digital currency even though it is easier and faster for most crossover transactions, it need the know how which most people for now wont be able to do.

In my opinion, from the differences between each, there are some advantages and disadvantages, in terms of use, it is clear that digital money is superior because it is easy and can be used anywhere and from a security point of view, I think paper money is superior because it can be stored in a bank. At present although the value of paper money is higher then digital currency but in future digital currency will dominate every where in the world.

Of course, it will still be very difficult to accept and use cryptocurrency in everyday life, but we will have to give up paper money very quickly and even the government will be interested in this. today, almost all countries are advocating for citizens to switch to cashless payments and get rid of the habit of using paper money.

Paper money is old-fashioned in current society through it's still heavily used everywhere. We are seeing digital money as fiat and cryptocurrency which offers more security, reliabilities, and more opportunity for society. Digital money is the key to making a digital society and country. Both have advantages and disadvantages but I am on the side of digital currency.

It still takes a lot of time to adopt and use digital currency for payment instruments. Due to many reasons such as regulatory issues, infrastructure and the availability of existing technology. That is why paper money still dominates as a legal tender in this world. I think digital currency and paper money will be used together in the future.

You are saying right! There are two different types of currencies in the world. And they are very different with their use case. One is a global currency of the world. And the paper currency varies from country to country currency. Digital currency can only be used through internet. But paper currency can be used anytime, and without internet.

When debts are collected, much of the income a country makes. When people borrow money, banks make money. Taking the US dollar case: if no borrowings were issued, perhaps no dollars would be circulating. And other words, the US dollar wouldn't be out there in the world without customers borrowing from banks.

Though fiat money seems to have a large share of its debt worth, Bitcoin is not. Beyond the faith of his group Bitcoin has its inherent value. Bitcoin is not dependent on a loan system; its worth depends on how useful it is as an investment medium.

Paper money is only centralized as it is issued by the central bank of the state. Although they are outdated, under certain circumstances they are often not replaceable and are very convenient when used as a means of payment, and therefore they should still exist for a long time. Especially if the pace of technological progress slows down due to natural disasters, human war or other factors. The use of cryptocurrencies and other digital currencies will continue to expand, but we still need paper money.

Even the limited knowledge of it by most people is a minus regardless of its efficiency.

No doubt. In the world, were people still exchange goods/services to goods/services (like in ancient times), paper money will exist for a very long time. Another fact that paper money will be used for a long time is shady economy. As long as people will be greedy and ready to pay less than original price, paper money will exist.

Also there need more awareness and education about digital money, so that people can understand about it. It's not about people's belief in paper money. Paper money is issued by the state and is guaranteed by the state as a method of payment for any transactions on its territory. The circulation of digital currency, cryptocurrency is not yet guaranteed by anything and anyone. Only by the general availability of blockchain technology. The statement that cryptocurrency is simple and reliable is not yet true. Cryptocurrency is still quite difficult for ordinary people to understand, both in theory and in practical use. Cryptocurrency is not only a simple transfer of funds from one address to another. Here, first of all, you need to have extensive knowledge in order to protect it from hackers and scammers and prevent numerous mistakes. In addition, it is still developing rapidly and therefore the rules for working with it are rapidly changing. Therefore, working with cryptocurrency is actually not as easy as it seems at first glance.

We shouldn't be too keen to move to digital currency. Finance does not like quick changes, no matter how beneficial these changes may seem. We see this even in the example of states introducing their own stablecoins of central banks. Everything is carefully studied, all possible consequences are being worked out, and then, the governments are not completely sure how it will all work. Let everything take its course. Cash also has its advantages over non-cash money. The ratio of cash to non-cash, digital versus non-cash, things have to slowly balance. The cryptocurrency should take its own niche among non-cash and digital payments. This process is quite lengthy.

Digital currency and cryptocurrency in particular will gradually replace cash and then, up to a certain limit. Paper money should not disappear from circulation, they are needed for the development of the economy of each state and, apart from cryptocurrency, this is the only type of money that is difficult for the state to track, and even more so to identify its owner. The adoption of electronic money is growing rapidly and if it continues which I know it would then in the future we may not see the much use of the fiat anymore, there are already plans of countries creating their own E-money, hopefully the adoption will rise and Electronic money will take over the future.

Yes, digital currency will soon be massively adopted by governments. However, it will not be a cryptocurrency, but their digitalized currency of the central banks. Of course, cryptocurrency will also expand its presence, however, states and their governments will be interested in developing their digitalized currency. It is possible that in this regard, we may even be able to see a wave of strict regulation of the circulation of cryptocurrency.

The question here is not faith in paper money. Paper money, ideally, is printed according to the volume of goods and services that can be purchased and that are provided in this state, that is, they are directly related to the economy of the state. Cashless payments in the national currency and the digitized national currency are also associated with the economy of the state, which cannot be said about the decentralized cryptocurrency.
In addition, paper money is the least tracked by government authorities, as opposed to digital currencies, with the exception of cryptocurrencies. Therefore, it is not worth giving up paper money, and this issue will be completely decided by states and their governments.

Although I agree that the world is moving towards digital money and, in general, this is correct, since digital money is more efficient and provides us with new opportunities, nevertheless, we should not forget about cash and it is necessary that they also have the right to parallel circulation. In some cases, they are still more conveniently calculated, and they remain the least monitored by the state. In addition, under certain cataclysms, digital technologies may fail.

The idea that much of today’s cash use will shift to digital tokens is no outlandish. Sure, governments will borrow some elements of the distributed ledger technology behind private cryptocurrencies, but they will very much want to retain control of what circulates as money in their economies.

Of course, digital money, but so far the world has not yet come to this and paper money cannot be dispensed with yet. People are not ready to give up paper money, they will still be needed in some kind of emergency, for example, if you get up somewhere along the highway, where there are no connections.

Well, some of the ways to persuade or rather encourage the use of digital currency includes,
1.Use Referral Programs To Incentivise Word of Mouth.
2.Airdrop Tokens.
3.Run Marketing Campaigns On Social Media And Do Email Marketing.
I personally think that digital currency is on it early stage of adoptions, and with little time in near future, more people will definitely adapt to it considering it's importance as compared to fiat currency.

In my opinion, paper money is not very efficient anymore because the cost of paper money is expensive and can have a bad impact on the environment because the main material for paper is wood, which trees can be used for oxygen production in the forest which eventually must be lost due to being cut down by humans.

I think this depends on your needs, if you are in need of paper money then you can use paper money, it's just that it might be inefficient because everything develops as technology develops, so money can be stored in digital form and not carry too much paper money so you can make transactions become more efficient.

Paper money is subject to inflation, so it is better to transfer it into more valuable assets, for example, cryptocurrency is a more valuable asset, it tends to rise in price. Therefore, I vote for cryptocurrency.

Well , we all know paper money often inflation, but the government always control it.
So, I think It's not the big problem.
Digital currency cannot be controlled by any one, I think It's the reason why the government didn't use crypto.

Besides that we must to understand the difference between digital money and cryptocurrencies. Digital money are state money, so they are not decentralized and are managing by the state. Paper money is now very risky to use or can be invested because it is prone to counterfeiting and of course paper money is not as flexible as digital money.
Digital money is very fast in transactions and of course it is also very needed when it is urgent, such as when it comes to payment of electricity, water, internet or house tokens.

A fair question that gets asked a lot, with regards to persuasion. One thing about the internet going down is we have paper as the backup, or something physical. If the entire planet had solid internet 247, with zero problems / hiccups, it would be an easier sell. That isn't our reality today ...the fact that we don't ALWAYS have internet and there are problems that occur, the world becomes an entire standstill. In that respect, getting rid of cash / physical spending entirely isn't so wise

This is not a true belief.People also think that gasoline cars cause more damage to the environment than electric cars. It's exactly the same here.To maintain the workability of the blockchain, a huge amount of electricity is needed. And this may even have a more negative impact on the environment than cutting down trees.

It is difficult to persuade or influence someone to believe in digital currency. Because some of the brands are also still difficult to use the technology. In the world also paper currency is more trusted and known to everyone because of its tangible form and they have been using it for years as a transaction tool. This may also be the reason if people are more comfortable using paper currency.

The problem for decentralized cryptocurrency is still that it is very poorly used as a means of payment. So far, this is the most speculative asset, which is expected to grow in value over time. Therefore, states will use their digitized national currencies of central banks and, most likely, they will find support among the population. Paper money will gradually decrease in turnover, but it is also needed. I don't think we will be able to get rid of cash in the near future.

IMO, I believe paper money is hard to replace because it was widely used and accepted globally, But because of the rising technological advantage of digital currency it might be used for payment services but it should be a form of stable coin and not a form of decentralized cryptocurrency because it's too volatile that might reduce its value during the prices movement.

There is no need to rush to move to digital money. They are more efficient compared to non-cash forms of payments, but they cannot replace paper money. In some cases it is much more profitable to use paper money than non-cash money. Therefore, digital money, CBDC, should simply complement existing types of payments. You should not get rid of old and reliable paper money. We shouldn't be completely dependent on new technologies. It must be remembered that in various cataclysms, high technologies often fail.

Apart from believing in the technology, it is not its time yet. we still have a long way to go for many to adopt and use it just like paper money is been used. You and I and many on this platform believe in the Tech and crypto but how often have you used it for payment? So it is not only the belief but the general adoption which will be very difficult because that aspect is controlled by the Government and they too believe in the tech but are not willing to adopt because they understand the consequences of it.

The currency of the states will in any case continue to exist. It can only change its form, but not its essence. Cryptocurrency can only exist alongside fiat, that is, the currency of states. It would be wrong to believe that cryptocurrency can replace fiat or dominate it.
CBDC is the same fiat, only in digitized form. Therefore, CBDC cannot be called a cryptocurrency. What connects CBDC with cryptocurrency is that in most cases it uses blockchain technology and sometimes also platforms of popular cryptocurrencies such as ethereum. However, it is a completely state-controlled currency. The Chinese Digitized Yuan does not even use blockchain technology.

Nevertheless, it should be borne in mind that paper money does not require special knowledge, certain techniques and the necessary conditions for making payment for any transaction. In addition, this is the most untraceable type of transaction. As much as we would not like the opposite, but for now there will be a significant part of the population that does not want to deal with cryptocurrency. As I know, crypto cannot be used if there is no internet network, this is a weakness of crypto.
however I support transactions using crypto and Fiat, both work for payments and crypto can be used without a bank intermediary, and I like the idea of P2P transactions.

The most revolutionary aspect of cryptocurrencies, is that
it can be spent and received by anyone, anywhere, at any time throughout the world and without the need for a bank or a government.
Again, the paper money or Fiat money is issued and controlled by (central) banks and governments.
Crypto is produced and distributed through a process called mining and is not controlled by a centralised authority

You're right, crypto transaction needs internet connection.
Maybe we doubt about everything will be crypto at the coming future, because several are no internet connection.
it's just prediction about future.

In less developed countries, where citizens cannot access any type of financial product or service from banks, cryptocurrencies may be the best solution to their problems. Cryptocurrencies can be the best option since they do not need to create banking systems from scratch or build any kind of infrastructure, so the initial investment would be really cheap. After all, it is governments that must make these kinds of decisions and I hope that someone is studying the best way to do it.

In some countries, there is no Internet available to anyone to use cryptocurrency. There should also be stability of cryptocurrencies as paper money, you can simply make a program for automatic exchange for cryptocurrency.

Deciding what will happen to paper money is not in the competence of cryptocurrencies or cryptocurrency holders. It is entirely up to states and their governments. States can regulate the amount of their cash and non-cash money, but they will not refuse them. Cash is a separate issue. They are not perfect and may still undergo changes in the process of evolution. But the currency of states will always exist as long as the states themselves exist.

Unfortunately, even cash will exist for a long time... residents of many countries do not have access to banks and ATMs and have never heard of crypto currency.

This is the main difference that will not allow digitized money to displace paper money. Some categories of citizens do not have access to digital money, or will not make the transition to digital money for other reasons. And in general, in some life situations, paper money is easier and more convenient to use than digital money. It seems to me that paper money has not yet become obsolete and it will be in circulation for a long time in parallel with other forms of money.

Actually fiat currency exist before creation or introduction of cryptocurrency more especially bitcoin in particular and it's obvious that bitcoin is a general currency which every country can adopt but due to lack of information and adoption of it in different countries people refused to adopt it as most accepted currency, from the basic awareness or impact bitcoin created recently even the least person in my own area is over interested in bitcoin, because the knowledge people adopt from crypto people have to preferred bitcoin more than fiat currency because bitcoin can be use to purchase anything across the countries.

Interesting question. Blockchain technology can add a lot of security to how we store our money and carry out transactions. Some people are already distrustful about the trend of using less and less actual paper money and more and more card and bank transactions, though. Educating people about the technologies underlying finance could help in my opinion.

Not everywhere has the internet, so in these times paper money is still important no matter what because whether we admit it or not cryptocurrency in this era is only for those who have internet in their respective homes.

No one has yet thought that it is possible to do cryptocurrency-like trading without the internet. But if there is someone who can think of conducting trade in crypto offline, this is good news by chance, maybe if this happens, I can say that paper money will lose its meaning in my opinion.

Cash has the right to exist along with other types of means of payment. In some cases, this is the easiest, fastest and most reliable way to calculate. After all, people do not always have access to working technical means with which they can carry out transactions. You also need to remember that this is practically the only payment method untraceable by the government. Even cryptocurrencies can, under certain circumstances, be relatively easy to trace.

Not all cryptocurrency transactions can be tracked, as well as bank transactions, not every person will be given the opportunity to track a transaction. Cryptocurrency is now an opportunity to quickly transfer funds anywhere in the world in a short period of time.

90% of the people in our country believe in paper money. However, if the new generation is aware of cryptocurrency, everyone believes that cryptocurrency may be the opposite of money in the future. This means that cryptocurrency can take the place of paper currency for transactions.

It is hardly worth saying that 90 percent of people believe in paper money. They use paper money, as it is the easiest and most affordable way to make transactions, especially small household ones, and also because the power and authority of the state is behind paper money.
Cryptocurrency will not be able to displace paper money or other state currency. To do this, cryptocurrency needs to destroy states, and this is an absolutely losing prospect.

It is what it is. That is the world for you. Digital currency is still a novelty to some people and would remain so for maybe up to 50 years. The integration of digital currency is not getting any headway especially in my country in Africa, where many people, even the youth, hold it in contempt and suspicion

There are already many countries in the world that accept and legalize Bitcoin. I don't think it is the main reason why most people still prefer using fiats (paper money). The main reason is many people still don't think digital money is more effective to use. Especially in remote places that have no capability to adopt digital money.

Fiat currency has a close relationship with bank systems and Crypto has decentralized blockchain technology, crypto adoption should have entered several countries such as El Salvador, but because the government is not able to regulate crypto, until now the rules for its use are still strict and continue to be monitored.

In the next 10 years, we are unlikely to switch to digital currency. The dominance of paper money is too great, in my opinion, it should take at least 50 years for society to accept digital money and abandon paper money.
Despite the fact that the states themselves see some advantages of digital money over paper money, paper money will still exist and so far I don’t see any rejection of it at all. In some cases and for certain categories of people, paper money is simply necessary. It should also be remembered that paper money is untraceable by states compared to their digital types of money. Therefore, paper money will decrease in circulation, but will not go anywhere. Digital and paper money have their own advantages and disadvantages, so they may well coexist together.

Yes, I do believe that paper money still has the dominance but 50 years don't you think you are saying it more. With the ongoing of the superfast internet services and there upgradation it will not take that long.

Many countries have almost abandoned cash payments and switched to non-cash payments, while the digital currency is not legal tender for them.... and it should not.
