I hear you and I also believe that these companies can even go ahead and sell some if they want without telling the public but even as a public person, Elon didn't need to do what he did in the end, his first move with Bitcoin was enough to get him attention which I believe it did plus I also believe he dosent think his posts too.

The fact of selling bitcoins cannot be kept secret, as such campaigns are required to make a quarterly report to the SEC. And this report is publicly available on the SEC website and anyone can read it.

Musk is generally a mysterious person and, as he himself said, there is innuendo, quirkiness and extravagance in him. And to be honest, Musk does what is beneficial to him, like everyone who is present on the crypto market. There is nothing surprising here, because we all came here for a profit.

Of course we are all here to make a profit, but the difference is that we (normal users) do not play with people or take them for idiots like Elon and Tesla have done, that is the big difference. This will not change the situation in the crypto market. There was not a single case of buying a Tesla for bitcoins. And even if Musk decides to sell Tesla for Doge, there is hardly anyone who will buy a car for cryptocurrency during a bull run.

Both Tesla and Elon Musk knew perfectly well how Bitcoin is mined before all of this started, even before Elon posted the first tweet about Bitcoin a long time ago. Bitcoin and mining have been the necessary excuse to make Doge more popular. To say that they did not know that Bitcoin is mined with a lot of electricity is to insult our intelligence.

I agree for bitcoins. But the point is not whether they heard him or not. The fact is that he does what suits him best, thereby manipulating the market.

A ban of Bitcoin as allowed payment seems to be only a marketing move from Elon Musk to make Tesla more known and get some reports and news for Tesla.
Maybe he will enable it again but I'm not sure because he was very negative about Bitcoin. Maybe he will instead allow only more energy efficient coins.

The credibility of Tesla and Elon Musk has dropped a lot since they decided (I think it was decided early on) not to finally accept Bitcoin as a payment method. If they said now that they accept Bitcoin again, they would not only look like clowns, everyone would laugh at them too, and that is something they could use very well to know how to treat people with respect.

Indeed, he created fomo among the new users and pumped the dogecoin/market a lot. But this type of fomo won't be long last as Vitalik Buterin already said that Elon's tweets won't have that much power to create fomo among the users.

Elon is not going to have this influence forever.

BTW, Elon is just trying to accomplish his target by neglecting bitcoin and picking up dogecoin as a payment method for buying Tesla so that dogecoin can hit $1 or more depending on his target. Looks like he's mission is failed as of now because of the current correction. After this correction, maybe people won't be happy to acknowledge his tweets, IMO.

People are divided into two types: who thinks for himself and who exactly follows others. Here are Musk's fans and admirers who blindly follow his tweets. And, unfortunately, there are a lot of them, so this is the situation. I also don't like what he does with his statements. But so far it is difficult to deal with this.
