I am happy and sad to see this development coming down on people behind the FTX debacle and after Sam Bankman-Fried got 25 years for the many crimes he committed while heading FTX, his minions are now facing the full brunt of the law in the unexpected collapse of the crypto-focused exchange they once managed and abused to the core. Happy to know that here in the cryptocurrency industry nobody is above the law and if one is committing a crime then there comes a time when one will be held accountable and be facing severe punishment. I am also sad that these people were given such a big trust and responsibility and yet they failed to treasure them and instead used the outfit they are managing to be the milking cow of their unsatiable desires and twisted dreams. FTX was supposed to be one of the shining stars in the industry and considered to be the envy of many and yet behind the doors termites were eating its very foundation as the heads were corrupted by power. And soon we can see Ryan Salame get his freedom punched and curtailed.

Now I am wondering if he will get a lighter sentence than Sam, but we will have to wait to find out.

If asked to bet on the outcome of the court case, I will bet on him having a lighter sentence, what do you think?

The right question we are not asking is where is Caronline Ellison, the supposed SBF alleged girlfriend that laundered the exchange money with Alemeda hedge, SBF was in charge of the firm but the misused of the funds happened under her supervision but the investigators are not looking into that, the woman has went hidden ever since then and hasn't come public. Does this means the law is protecting her or they are just trying to use SBF as a main character to be humiliated? He might has done bad but let's justice be serve among all of them that has hands in the collapse of FTX particularly that Caroline.

If asked to bet on the outcome of the court case, I will bet on him having a lighter sentence, what do you think?
He will surely get a lesser sentencing than sbf, Salame accepted that he was guilty of the charges against him, but i don't think he testified in court like Gary Wang, Caroline Ellison and Nishad Singh did. Since they have all agreed to be guilty and some of them supported and provided evidence to aid the prosecutors investigation, i believe they will get a very fair sentencing.

He pleaded guilty to all charges against him right? And with that, I will assume that he will get a lighter sentence than SBF as he "chooses" to cooperate and make side deals. And again, it all boils down as how good his lawyers is making this deal from the government prosecutor and get the best sentence for Ryan Salame.

So I wouldn't be surprised if it's like 5-10 years and possibility that he will not go that full sentencing of him and could be out in about 8 or even less. I know it's all like not fair for their victims, but this is the US law.

Sbf is the main culprit here, and since he got 'only' 25 years in jail, i don't think the creditors will have any interest in what setence the other guilty parties get. Right now the creditors can only hope that they don't wait for years without end to get some of their money back, but if you see how the situation played out in similar cases, you know they are in for a very long wait.

They should learn from the Mt. Gox heist, that it should be settled as quick as possible as it might drag for years and up to know the ghost of Mt. Gox is still haunting us. So hopefully this will be not the case here if there are still some billions in SBF account or other assets of him to liquidate to pay the creditors.

No brainer here, Salame will not get what SBF got. It's gonna be less than 25 years for cooperating and pleading guilty for light sentence. I don't what to speculate but less than 10 years for him.

Judge to Sentence Former FTX Executive Ryan Salame in Late May

Initially scheduled for May 1, the sentencing of Ryan Salame, former co-chief executive of FTX Digital Markets, has been deferred to May 28, 2024, in front of Judge Lewis Kaplan. See more for yourself here.

Your opinion is greatly appreciated.
Well, it seems like they really are after those other FTX members who are involved in this fiasco.

Like what other said here, I will not also be surprised if these puppets of SBF will be sentenced to less than 10 years in prison. I'm still shocked that SBF only is serving 25 years in prison knowing how much damage he's done not only to those investors, but to the whole cryptocurrency. Anyway, I expect more puppets of SBF to be jailed including is "alleged" girlfriend. :D

No brainer here, Salame will not get what SBF got. It's gonna be less than 25 years for cooperating and pleading guilty for light sentence. I don't what to speculate but less than 10 years for him.
Yeah, less than 10 years sounds reasonable to me and i think it is a good enough punishment, considering what sbf got. I don't think people have interest in how long he and the other culprits get, if he even gets less that 10 years, i don't think anyone will talk about it too much like they did when sbf got just 25 years in prison.
