Vitalik Buterin admitted that BCH has mostly failed in a thread of tweets with comments about Bitcoin Cash.
In one of his tweets, Buterin said that the leading Bitcoin fork is focused on being a protest movement made up of a rebel mindset and therefore lacks a coherent way forward.
Why do you think he made such a statement?

we know what is the limiting factor i see about community: bch (and a couple of other coins as well) are very much exclusive to english language communities
meanwhile in comparison, btc is more international

When compared to Ethereum, BCH is indeed less popular and lost to the Community.
Especially now that there are many new Crypto coins emerging from new networks, Bitcoin Cash is indeed a little behind.
However, if asked to choose between a new coin and BCH, I will optimistically choose Bch ,Be it for investment or trading.
Again I say, maybe Vitalik compares BCH and Ethereum to say that.

The community is restricted to English-speaking individuals for BCH and a few other coins, which is a constraining issue.BCH is less popular than Ethereum, and the community has abandoned it.Bitcoin Cash is falling behind, especially now that a slew of new Crypto coins are launching on new networks.
For investment or trading purposes, I would chose BCH over a new coin.
