Title: Post Count
Post by: admin on March 24, 2024, 03:23:12 PM
I have introduced a variable to show the post count, it can be seen in show stats.

The value might be different from the show all posts
https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;area=showposts;u=1

because it does not count the posts in trash, and so on.

Good job on this. This will now solve all the posts related problems. 1 step at a time.
Question, what does it mean on "Most Popular Boards By Activity" what are the details that matters as counted there.

Good work admin.
I know campaign managers will now be happy about this update, but can you somehow make this number show in the main profile page for all account?
It can be place near the Activity stats, or it can be in the same line of activity.

Hmm. Is this a default smf features for user stats? I was curious because there are boards that i have smaller posts count yet it has more percentage than other boards where i usually posts or read. Maybe views or opened thread have something to do with this too.

Most Popular Boards By Posts is raked by number of your posts in the exact section.
Most Popular Boards By Activity is ranked by share of your posts among all the posts of the exact section.

If this is the case it should be the same result on my "most popular boards by posts". But why i get more percentage on boards/section that i have lesser posts than those boards where i posts more.

No, Most Popular Boards By Posts shows the share of your posts in this section among all your posts, and Most Popular Boards By Activity shows the share of your posts in this section among all posts (of all users) in this section. Totally different idea.

Interesting. This is why you will have higher mumber in small or new boards, because there total amount of posts is also considered. Your share in the total amount of posts of that board.

That's right, I have 78.49% in one of the sections... and I hope one day the situation will change and there will be more users interested in communicating in that section. But as for now I'm the most active user in there, nearly the only one... :o

Yes, I understand. Serbian is not my mother tongue also, but I at least learned it a little, so it is possible to try to help that section to be a little more active than at zero level. But I make mistakes anyway, and it takes more time because my Serbian is too far from fluent. And speaking the language you never learned (like me and Portuguese)... it's too challenging. ;D
