Cryptocurrency discussions / Binance Coin Passes NEO and Ethereum Classic

Binance Coin (BNB) has now passed both NEO and Ethereum Classic (ETC) in market cap and stands as the 14th largest cryptocurrency, according to CMC.

The rise in the rankings comes after a new announcement from Binance founder and CEO Changpeng Zhao, who recently revealed that BNB will be used to pay for fees on Binance Chain, the company’s decentralized exchange.

Zhao says the launch of Binance Chain is now on the horizon.

Philip Nunn, CEO of Blackmore Group and Wealth Chain Group, is dubbing Ripple the “Microsoft of Crypto.”
Nunn founded Blackmore in 2013. The firm specializes in wealth management, angel investment, commercial property investment and financial technology. His latest venture, Wealth Chain Capital, invests in crypto startups and runs a crypto index fund.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume keeps on expanding. Binance has invested $2.5 million in TravelbyBit, a blockchain payments provider based in Queensland, Australia.

The two companies are creating a point-of-sale (POS) system that accepts cryptocurrency at major airports around the world.

The platform is designed to push cryptocurrencies closer to mass adoption by giving travelers the ability to purchase goods with four different cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC) and Binance Coin (BNB).
