I think that a technology that allows to recover lost keys of Bitcoin or any other crypto would be the end of all cryptocurrencies. I am totally convinced that the majority of people (99%) would use it to steal the coins/tokens of others, and that would be the end of the cryptocurrency industry, since a security breach of that magnitude would cause all trust to be lost. I think it's better that something like that never exists.

Really? how do you think that is going to work? will the technology know the wallets that the owners have lost their keys to? or is it that the owners are the ones to run whatever tech app that might be to recover their lost keys? I don't even know how to think about it. The truth is, for anything like that to happen simply means someone or some people now have the ability to unlock any Bitcoin wallet and go with the starch which is more like what hackers do presently. No, no tech like that will happen.

And how would you know that Bitcoin is lost or abandoned?. How would you know it's not from someone who's been saving it for a long time?. @Muneeb22 do you think someone who has kept Bitcoins in a wallet since 2009 would be happy if someone using "innovative" software steals their coins?, I think that person would feel many things, but would not be happy. I think this will never happen. After all, this technology implies banally pumping bitcoins from lost wallets, and this is almost impossible, given the complexity of the keys from wallets, if these technologies do not have, of course, a quantum computer.

Who has quantum computers today? Nobody, there are only prototypes and logically they are not available to anyone, the first quantum computer that "could" hit the market is the SpinQ Gemini (with only 2 qubits) with a price of $50,000, as you can see, the price will make it not available to everyone, and that model will not have the necessary power to find private keys. That is what I am trying to explain, that quantum computers will take years to reach users' homes, and those computers will not be very powerful (they will process very few qubits), which would make it impossible to find private keys or hash collisions. Well those who have been able to successfully recover their Bitcoins from forgotten wallets are in luck and I believe they will know how to now secure their login/recovery details better but for those that don't remember, I am sure that those are lost forever because if there will ever be a time when there is such technology then all bitcoin wallet is at risk and not just the lost once.
