Could Bitcoin Become a New Global Currency?

I think becoming a global currency will take time, but it's not an impossible goal. Acceptance is growing - Australia's largest commercial bank, the Commonwealth Bank, actually recently announced they would allow cryptocurrency trading. Once more institutions like that embrace cryptos, that goal will become more and more real, I think.

Impossible and I hope not because all agree every transactions must start and end with fiat,  don't against world rules.  If use block chain platform I agree but stay with fiat only.  Popular and have liquidity doesn't mean can be use,  economic already have rules so be with it.

Yes there are organizations/institutions now that accept Bitcoin for payments and this will continue to play out as these investments see it fit and on the other hand, Bitcoin will still remain for most as an Investment Asset.

Me too, I don't think about it. I don't believe bitcoin will become  a new global currency, because I think the government such as US, China etc will have own crypto currency.

that's true, CBDC is alternate digital currency from government to against crypto dominance at crypto world.
But It will not effect for crypto currency.
Because both is different thing.
Crypto currency didn't use for payment methods yet that will replace fiat money, but It can be.
