Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos
« on: April 03, 2024, 08:24:58 PM »
Well I mainly use my telegram for chatting and as a notifier for the forum.
Telegram is not as secure as you might think perse. Some information are saved in their server for about 12 months which if compromised can endanger ones privacy since its been registered with a phone number.

On the Casino, There isn't much I can say except been careful. Telegram is known as a scammers Den for a reason. But bad rep doesn't mean there aren't good ones there. You can try it out as long as you using money you willing to loss. Compared to online casinos, Telegram is advantageous if you looking for easy access and some level of security.

Yes, I agree with you, I use telegram mainly for charting and I haven't played any casino on telegram before, shear your experience if you have done it before..

General Discussion / Re: Formal education. Overrated?
« on: April 03, 2024, 02:32:21 AM »

I think In my own country it is the whole system that is messed up and thats why the educated ones are looking like the ones who have waisted their whole fixed years in the higher institution. They are some people who will go and read all the courses and even get a very good results at that but when you come out to the labour market to actually secure a Job, the system fucks you up and corner you or position you like someone who doesn't know what he is doing.
Yes I agree with you on this one, some countries due to the rate of high level of corruption and and bad government which has result to poor economic system, and lack of job opportunities for the citizens, many people just look at formal education as a waste of time and resources.
I had a friend who was telling me that he wanted to leave the country for business and he was still in school then, I thought it was after he rand up his education before he would travel out m, but he told me that he would leave everything and travel out to look for the money first before he can continue his education, and he gave me reasons to believe that he was right.
Doe formal education is not bad, but in a country that has poor economic system and bad government, where many graduates are out doing manual labours to make earns, I think making money first is not a bad idea, but you have to acquire your degree as well.

General Discussion / Re: What do you do in your free time?
« on: April 02, 2024, 12:50:56 AM »
This is a time I update my knowledge. I love to read so much so when I am not working, I pick up a book and read. Knowledge is important because the more you acquire knowledge the more you tend to push back the frontiers of ignorance in your life. Remember knowledge is power so pick up a book and read today.

Good to hear that, learning never ends so one should not stop of seek for more knowledge. But not always, quality rest and sleep can help you in different ways...

Gambling discussion / Re: Suitable for persons 18 plus to gamble
« on: April 01, 2024, 06:33:29 PM »
I think 18 plus persons are suitable for gambling, because boys and girls under 18 will be studying at that time. If gambling is indulged in at that time, it is certainly fatal to the society, and a threat to the family. Because a gambler can never do anything good, he will always be addicted to winning, and he can do various evil things to earn this money by gambling.

Yes, from age 18 and above are allowed to gamble, not because  those under 18yrs are studying, it is because in some government policies 18+ is the legal age for a boy or girl to partake in legal activities like ; voting, driving etc...

Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble wisely
« on: April 01, 2024, 06:27:15 PM »

You are only right at some point.
First of all, not all gambling games requires a great deal off  chance or luck to win,  card games like blackjack and poker are good examples, they require mostly your skills and experiences on the game, so even if you need luck, your winning isnt fully dependent on luck.
I agree with you, that in card games your skill and experience too can make you win, but what about shearing the cards? You don't know what cards are been shared to you or your opponent , that is where the luck comes in. Gambling is based on luck, no doubt about that...

What  is the best way to invest in cryptocurrency?

Well how about try making research on the particular coin you want to invest on and then just buy the coin through any reputable CEX and then you hold it or trade it for short term profit that's if you are the type that lack patience. But if you are the patience type then I would recommend you buying Bitcoin and holding it but with the current rate of Bitcoin price now I guess one would be discouraged because the price is already looking high.

Gambling discussion / Re: should gambling be completely banned?
« on: March 31, 2024, 03:07:42 PM »
I don't think that could be possible, gambling is not met for under age, that is why in most gambling centers you see 18+ only, and online the KYC verification enables them to detect your ate. Doe in these days under age tend to gamble hidden, but that shouldn't mean that gambling should be banned.
Gamble moderately and wisely...

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: What tokens are trending?
« on: March 31, 2024, 02:30:25 PM »

I just checked the chart of SOL right now and it's currently  186$ and it's ATH is 269$ imagine how much gain you received if you bought it now and it breached it's ATH? In my own analysis, it will go through around 500$ this year and 1000$ or even more in the coming 3 years of bull market. I'm not suggesting you to convert "all" of your ETH to sol but it is nice to consider to let go a portion of it and buy SOL. It's all your decision mate. You financial assets is all in your hands to handle.  :)
SOL is a good token and it is good but also there are many other tokens too which can be also profitable to you if you buy them.
It's up to you, but what I will say is don't just  buy any token without making your research,.you might loss.

Nigerian Languages / Re: SEC Asks NTC to Block Binance in Philippines
« on: March 30, 2024, 11:26:54 PM »

I think Binance just have to do the needful by complying to all the rules of the various nations they find themselves otherwise they would not be happy with what they would encounter in the nearest future.  Binance is a world known entity and as such is expected to have made millions of dollars from nations and do not want to comply with them because they have not been approached by them.
For now that is the only solution, because due to all these bans and restrictions, they will be getting negative feedbacks and people will be afraid to put their assets in binance.
Pertaining the Nigeria case with binance, since one of the binance executive is still remaining in custody, is there any possibility of them accepting the terms and conditions of FG and rectifying the issue?

AI cannot take over human labour. AI is already programed and human knowledge is unlimited so to what extent AI becomes a threat to human labour. If a question is asked AI gives the same answer while human gives different answers. And the only thing I can say that AI helps human is, it makes things easy to search. The believe of the new generational approach and ideology, human labour can not be eliminated in any technology.
Based on my opinion, doesn't matter how technology advance this time, it cannot take away human labor out of the same. There's a place we're technology have a limit, AI cannot become a substitute for human beings, because there are things only humans can do with AI cannot do. For me AI is just an added advantage to humans not a substitute.i align with you.
Are you sure? Because with time AI robots will be built and they will perform most task that humans do. Like in most big companies now heavy duty machines are been operated by human being, but with time, don't you think AI robots can perform those tasks?

Economics , Sociology & Politics / Re: Cost of living
« on: March 30, 2024, 11:02:41 PM »

I disagree with you on this. In Nigeria, resources are utilized but they are not translated into bringing about the greatest happiness of the greatest number. Individuals in charge of the country's treasury are concerned with siphoning the treasury to the detriment of the people.

The only resource that is underutilized in the country is the human resource. This is made obvious by the fact that the majority of the people are not gainfully employed.
The thing is just that the corruption rate us very high, what is ment for the general public, one man will siphon it or turn it to a family business, which is very bad, and it is affecting the country. Most natural resources that are to be utilized by the government for the betterment of the country are conveyed to one person. Cost of living is high as a result of corruption and greed.
