I think it is due to the time-based aspect of ranking up, not just activity based:
users, all while focusing on limiting cheaters and spammers.[/b]
To rank up, the new system rely on Activity parameter.
Activity is based on post count, but is influenced by other parameters :
- Registration date : to limit speedy spam ranking.
- Time active on the forum : this applies for some but not all the ranks.
- Karma : this applies for some but not all ranks.

In essence, you don't have to think about how much activity and karma are needed to rank up. It is better for you to contribute and be active in forums with quality post then you will rank up. Just do it :)

Hi @T@M👩 💻. No. To climb the ranking all you have to do is be active in the forum. Answer questions, create interesting threads, and always post constructively. This way you will rise in the ranking and users will give you positive karma. You don't have to do it in promotional posts if you don't want to, you can do it in any section of the forum.

I have been enjoying myself so far on this platform, sharing and also learning from others. I noticed that my post activity has stopped counting, but I keep getting points whenever I make a post. Is there a limit to the number of posts per week?

There is no limit on posts per week or anything like that. It is normal that your activity counter has stopped counting, it is a security mechanism of the forum.

Fortunately, your question has already been answered by @Freemand but I would like to add something into it. Just keep your posting schedule and give more time to the forum, don't care much about the activity or ranking up because if you care much about that then it would be difficult for you to make new posts.
Just be active, online, and continue to create posts, you'll see that your activity and rank both will increase within a few weeks. The security measures are for the good of the forum and of the members who have been active on this forum for many years. let's be active and enjoy the experience on this forum.

Exactly @SamReomo are said it all already because I experience such, but didn't stop me from posting and being active so just continue posting quality post eventually it will surely start counting again. Beside this forum fun to be actually got alot of things got to explore here ;D

As you can see, your post counter is now working again. Like I told you, it was temporary. It is possible that the same thing happens again in one of the following user levels, but I am not 100% sure, If it happens again you already know what the reason will be.

It means that all the factors (number of posts, activity factor, etc.) required to become a SR. Member are secret. It is possible (I am not sure) that it depends on factors that we do not know. You shouldn't think too much about it either, contributing regularly to the forum will make you rank up easily, it's definitely the best way to do it.

There are too many secrets and complications around ordinary forum features. I spent an hour searching about forum ranks, and the necessary conditions for certain ranks and this is the closest I found.
Here, for example, it is completely unclear to me why, for example, user KryptoBull (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?action=profile;u=21587) has reached the limit of 2000 activities and cannot progress any further. He even has 117382 points, but that is not enough. Which rule prevents him from having higher activity?
My activity is limited at 2000 as Legendary rank, but I am very active members here, you can check My post.

It is normal for the counter to lock when it reaches 2,000 posts (@KryptoBull counter is now working again as you can see), is something that all users have gone through (all those who have reached that amount, of course), and it is totally normal. If I remember correctly, a few days later my meter was working again without problems. It is a mechanism to avoid spam and abuse, nothing abnormal.

If there is no technical limitations there are no other limitations except common sense. If the post is meaningful and follows the thread of the discussion, why would anyone restrict it basing on any time interval? And if the post is pointless and even left once a decade, why to leave it? What answer do you really expect to get? :o
