Compared to Bitcoin using POW, new projects use POS with higher speed but lower security capabilities. Currently BTC is only used as a store of value, so its speed is not a big problem.
Many people want BTC to move to POS and use more scaling solutions, I think if all this happens, we will be able to use BTC more easily.

No, the new technology won't replace old all old technology. For the example Bitcoin and Blockchain, they don't want to replace the technology and the investment asset like Gold or Forex. I think new technology just add something new in our life. It is not bad news but very positive news.

I like the idea of Bitcoin, the technology used, adoption and the growing community so no doubt for me Bitcoin will never be replaced by new coin it will remain the king and pioneer of cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is not like fashion that can be replaced every single year it is a trusted and considered still as new form of currency that will last until the last man using, holding and trading Bitcoin will be gone.

I believe thats, not the case, the biggest threat to Bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies are the fast pacing achievements of quantum computing technology because quantum computers are so fast that can easily decrypt all of the existing security secrets of cryptocurrencies today even from superb privacy focus cryptocurrencies like Monero is not safe with the quantum computing technology if fully developed and already functional.

I also think the same but I found out that Quantum is different from the PC we are using as Quantum only works on numbers and in some specific case, but the pc works on every case.

New technologies do come into existence and old one do wear away, but in the crypto world, only old technologies/projects that does not keep up with maintenance of their projects gets affected and get loss, and new technology takes over it. As for bitcoin, it has laid its standards and generally known in the crypto space by those in and out of the system. It has gained its popularity and leads in the price of the crypto market, where every altcoin is affected by it's price. If we look at the other side, gold, it has been over the years, were generations upon generations gas come and gone, its value is still upheld and its respect is still intact. Bitcoin holds the crypto market, and will remain over the years. New and upcoming generations will see, learn and use this technology.

I`m happy to see many new products offered by altcoin developers, but Bitcoin Blockchain technology will continue to be developed and developers are doing everything they can to improve the performance of Bitcoin sending transactions.
