Yes. Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash both have ambitions to become a medium for daily transactions. Litecoin’s price spiked in 2017 after Steam, a popular gaming platform, announced plans to replace bitcoin on its platform with Litecoin.
With the introduction of Lightning Network on its platform, bitcoin itself may become a competitor to Dash. But Dash has taken a head start over competitors.

I think that with or without the lightning network of litecoin, these coins, litecoin and dash are built on the shortcoming of Bitcoin and there is that competition already in the market.

Of course DASH is a lot of competition, maybe other altcoins, but if bitcoin is not possible in saingin with altcoins, bitcoin is the parent of crypto so it's impossible to compete.

If we are referring to their project platforms may be Dash have few competitors but in terms of investment I think we can consider all coins as competitor because all of that is part of investors choices.

Another point for Dash that it will have a decentralised budget funds system in place that will make sure that future projects
will get funded though Dash's blockchain (it will be implemented with next update).
In my eyes this will mean that Dash as project can keep developing itself and does not risk drying up due to lack of funding.
This in contrast to other altcoins (and Bitcoin) who really need funds, any funds to keep operating. This (again in my eyes) increases the
surviveability of Dash as coin and keeps the community involved (which is rather large and active already).

Yes and I think one of the most important things to do is to un-tether Dash from Bitcoin's price. As far as I know there aren't many places to buy Dash with straight cash. It really needs to be available on something like CoinBase to succeed.

I'm not worried about any coin that doesn't pay its developers from the blockchain. Dash's positive feedback loop of funding allows it to scale to levels we haven't seen yet. Coins that rely on donations will become co-opted by the highest bidder like Bitcoin has.

True, I want to add in 1 more competitor for Dash, it’s PIVX. This coin was created base on codebase of bitcoin combine with private function of Dash. The upgrade of PIVX is it’s use zPIV protocol that hide everything from sender and receiver on their transaction.

I think dash have competitors if not i have absolutely no worries if they come up with some good technology we can just hire their developers and implement their ideas.

Going by basic game theory every single project that boasts with "0 fees" is going to get killed by spam attacks in the mid- to long-term. We've already seen it with IOTA and that hasn't even gotten rid off their centralized coordinator nodes yet. Good luck mitigating spam without those.

Having more options to buy or sell Bitcoins and altcoins is not a bad idea. The problem is finding a convenient service to do so.A lot of people don t want to sign up for an exchange which is understandable.

Dash competitors is ZEC, XMR and PIVX. Those are also in the top of anonymous coin and being used for hidden payments in worldwide till now. In those anonymous I think ZEC is the hardest competitor

First thing first, the entire coins in the crypto ecosystem has made a competitive environment, where if you don't work on your project for new development, you'll be left behind. Litecoin was made from the shortcomings of bitcoin, and yet it is not the second in ranking of crypto currencies. If we look at the best features of Dash, we will see that it has the right to hold the first but when capitalization comes in, it wont be able to hold that position.

All of the altcoins are in competition to be second to the bitcoin and also with their similarities of features they may compete who have the features works the best I don't know yet if there is but dash is amazing

My experience at Cryptocurrency has not been able to match DASH, because DASH was first created for Masternods and then followed by ZCash.
So in my experience until this moment there are no competitors who can beat DASH.
