I agree with you, Bitcoin is built not with hype like YFI, bitcoin is built with strong fundamentals, blockchain technology and amazing community,
while YFI I did not find anything special about this coin other than hype and maximum supply which was very little.

Well I don't think YFI  can surpass the popularity of bitcoin even if had it's own wallet. You know YFI is a new token and also it doesn't mean that the highest price determined the popularity, YFI has a low supply and I think it can easily manipulate by the early buyers.
