That's right bitcoin and gold are different sides. Bitcoin is digital currency and gold is real asset.  also believe bitcoin and gold have different communities. But I believe bitcoin will be more popular than gold at the coming future.

I don't think the era of the dollar will collapse, it will hurt many developed countries that have accepted the dollar as a tradable currency and can be used in all world banks.
Bitcoin will be a digital asset that will be recognized by all countries, one day I believe both of them can be used together for cross-bank transactions and the dollar will still exist

I bet that Bitcoin will not be able to end the rule of the USD, because:
-USD has been remembered many hundreds of years ago and has become the common foundation for all currency pairs around the world.
-USD is a stable coin that is a role model for all world currencies.
Even the Chinese Yuan, which is said to overturn the USD government, has yet to beat the USD.

I never believe that dollars can be depleted. Bitcoin will continue to be used in cryptocurrencies and people in different countries but it is now doing different types of transactions. It turns out that we are holding bitcoin or any other coin but we are buying it with dollars. So how is it possible to run out of dollars.

Digital money will be highlighted but i don't think dollar reign will be eliminated by Bitcoin. I think both are complementary of each other. Without dollar, we can compare our Bitcoin with real fiat cash. Mastercard users won't purchase Bitcoin using their card if dollar reign will be eliminated. This  is a day dream i think.

I agree with you and how ever Bitcoin might grow, there is no replacing or ending the dollar IMO. Bitcoin might be serving some form of payment purpose but we must also realize that it will take a longer time if at all before it could be accepted in every day shopping stores plus my biggest concern actually is the Government not allowing this to happen ever.

I agree with you and how ever Bitcoin might grow, there is no replacing or ending the dollar IMO. Bitcoin might be serving some form of payment purpose but we must also realize that it will take a longer time if at all before it could be accepted in every day shopping stores plus my biggest concern actually is the Government not allowing this to happen ever.

I believe so too. This are two different entities regardless of them having some features alike of the power to serve as a means of purchase and we most also see that while bitcoins price might continue to grow so is the level of its volatility and this will affect it as a Government choice and not to forget its Decentralized nature which can not be controlled by the government too. So I dont think this is visible also.
