A lot of institutions already joined the cryptocyrrency payment method. One of those are the real estate companies. If the real estate owner's agreed to pay the rent with bitcoin or other crypto coin. the more people adopt this kind of payment and more people tend to be conscious about how great this technology be used as convenient and in a way it can be a cashless transaction.

We will see a lot of upcoming adoption like these few years from now.  And as Rick Caruso is a bitcoin investor and is open for crypto payments, it will attract more peoples who are also bitcoin enthusiasts to rent into his real estate property.

Yes, I think bitcoin is a good payment method for payment rents, if bitcoin has been accepted.
But I think We need government support to use this coin for payment methods.
Maybe at the next several years again.

Unfortunately cryptocurrencies not allow In my country. My government and central bank can't permit cryptocurrencies as payments systems. Sometimes governments put jail to holders or user who use cryptocurrencies as transactions.

Its a very good news that Bitcoin is being used in diversified fields. I will not be surprised if bitcoin is used for rent payment. Acceptance of Bitcoin is continuously increasing. It is now being invested used by different large companies. It can be used for making different payment that you have mentioned. It can be a good avenue to invest in the real estate with Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency payment depending on the level of your country advancement firstly the people you're dealing with are they able to adopt to the system of it's development technology wise, if the people are still far from the new development in cryptocurrency as a medium of payment.
