Ethereum is better than Bitcoin?

I think, it is not true, "ethereum is better than bitcoin". I believe bitcoin is more better than any coins. Many big investors have invested their money in bitcoin. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency. It is blockchain based coin. It has wide market. The whole crypto world influenced by bitcoin.

everyone has different views. Some say that bitcoin is better than ether and vice versa.
In my own opinion, bitcoin remains the best in the crypto world. because bitcoin is well known all over the world that accepts crypto.

I expect that the planned improvements will be implemented in ethereum, and then we can definitely say that this coin is better than bitcoin. Now Bitcoin is already very outdated and I do not yet see the possibility of improving it, including the possibility for its scalability. ETH is definitely a security as it doesn't conduct ICO when it was launched, and has gain so much form in the market and to me still best in smart contract but can't compare it with btc , may be in aspect of tx fees it will be much better than btc and block mining time too, yes I agree with that cos btc was the first and bound to save these challenges and more why many new coin need to look in to this and work to correct it so there is room for many to showcase their talent to and advance in crypto .

in my opinion even though ethereum has a smart contract platform and good charisma on the market. but bitcoin is better than ethereum because of the many cryptocurreny we can exchange with bitcoin. so I personally believe that bitcoin is the best.

Every favorite coins we have, we look at it as the best coin knowing that bitcoin cannot be defeated and denied its potential and the capability to handle the entire crypto land. Still bitcoin is the best.

Some say Bitcoin will maintaine the lead many next years and it will be much greater than Ethereum, but I think Ethereum according to CCN has potential in next 2 years with new platform design that will take over even get Bitcoin on it.

I  disagree  with  this  statement   because  bitcoin  is  the  leader   of  the  team   and  can   not  be  overthrown   by  any  other  coin  for   now,  it  has  the   higher   advantage  and  is  the  number  one.

if in my opinion not bro, because etherium prices follow the movement of the bitcoin price chart. if etherium can escape and have its own price graph movement. new i can say. if Etherium is better than bitcoin ..

I think that until a new technological pattern emerges, for example, quantocoin, there will not be a single coin better than btc.

Brian Kelly, the founder, and CEO of an investment firm focused on digital currencies BKCM LLC, believes that Ethereum will be a better investment than Bitcoin.
Brian Kelly, from his point of view, points out the following reasons:

👉1. Ethereum Futures Contracts
First, Kelly believes that Ethereal futures contracts or ETH Futures will soon be launched, as the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has officially decided that the Ether is not a security. This action has removed the biggest obstacle for Ethereum – The 2nd ranked coin in market capitalization to institutional investment.
However, what Kelly does not mention is that launching the Future Ethereum could more likely to pull down the price of this second-largest cryptocurrency rather than help it.
Since the launch of the Bitcoin futures contract, Bitcoin’s price has plummeted and many blamed the use of investment tools to manipulate the market for this decline.

Secondly, Kelly pointed out that the Augur platform was one of the main reasons for Ethereum's rapid growth when compared to Bitcoin.
As described by the analyst, " It’s a decentralized prediction market. What’s interesting about this [is that] this will probably be one of the biggest decentralized apps on top of Ethereum. If [augur] doesn’t slow the system down, that can generally be a positive for Ethereum."

👉3. Proof-of-Stake Protocol
Finally, Ethereum's upgrade from hardware mining to software mining will drive the continued growth of the cryptocurrency.
Ethereum creator - Vitalik Buterin, also recently explained that Ethereum's scalability improvements to the layer solutions will multiply one to another - improving the number of users that the system can handle, which increase the processing capacity of up to 1 million transactions per second.
However, this refers to the fact that Bitcoin and Ethereum are not fully competitive. Upgrading the Ethereum platform is likely to serve more of a rivalry between competitors like EOS, while Bitcoin will remain its top position in transferring and storing value.

Yes I think ethereum is smart contract.  It is better than bitcoin. But I think bitcoin is more popular and more valuable than ethereum.

Honestly for mW to answer to this, I will say Ethereum has nothing good near Bitcoin, bitcoin the the king of cryptocurrency and I believe it will remain the king.
