I think Ripple is a good project, but I think that now Ethereum’s big competitor is TRON. Because TRON is developing very fast, its community is growing rapidly, and the scalability problems are resolved compared to Ethereum. Yes it is the best competitor to Ethereum when it comes to marketcap, but they have different use-cases. So the best competitor of ethereum in terms of this are most likely EOS or tron.
