Would a sports section be useful?

If some casinos start promoting here then I disagree. When they have the must make x posts in gambling sections, users interests go out the window. They just start posting in any thread in gambling to get their quota.

I dont like promotional campaigns that force people to write minimum amount of posts, and there are other ways of advertising in forum.
Better to have several players who are active in different sports, formula one, boxing, mma, football, nba, and have someone to talk with.
If I dont have anyone to talk with It feels like I am writing a blog 

Promotional campaign is not good at all but in some sectors it is seen that even posts which are very low quality posts. But they don't observe. Moderators don't say anything about it. These should be considered. Forums have many good posting sectors but no one thinks about it so it seems like a problem but I think it should get out of here.

There is Gambling board in THE forum already, you just need to create sports topic there and see if there is enough activity.
Compared to bitcointalk forum I think that you would get significantly less activity and genuine conversation, so maybe you need to get some casino promotion first.

There is already a Gambling Discussion Board or Section here in the forum where any kind of sports can be discussed and I have made some threads over there https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?board=448.0. And I thought Yahoo62278 knows about the section. And the section is active and just that we need some  more active users there to participate. I think that the same section in bitcointalk which is very active is popularly known as spammers section.

Sports section is one good area to tackle complete sports  and not with gambling or anything , because lets admit that we are being surrounded by sports gambling all over the other forum so Its fine and cool having conversation not with bets or anything but instead the games we love to watch or play aside from this being off topic.

So many different leagues that it could clutter a gambling section if we let it.

Would it be useful? Of course, it would if people use it for the right purpose which means that it should only have discussions and prediction threads for different sports when such threads are generally posted in Gambling and Gambling Discussion boards.

A separate section for sports can keep the threads about sports in a single place so that if a user wishes to surf the sports section or find a thread related to a sports league, they don't need to go through the gambling section and see a bunch of gambling threads first before stumbling upon what they were originally looking for.

separate section would be nice, this is to distinguish the casino/gambling threads to sports discussion although its a fine line. without betting on teams, the sports matches are going to be purely just sports.

but i guess we can discuss more educational focusing more on sports than gambling. there were several debates about this like the thread about the new rules in soccer about the blue card in soccer which is entirely not related to gambling. i think it was moved to general discussion.

I think it will be useful but I doubt it might get become a place for scammers to scam members, but with proper moderation, it can be prevented ofcourse. I don't participate in gambling contests, many campaigns run contests for some reward, and a dedicated board for such contests will make the work easier for many members.

As it will become easy to track that section, for new updates so they can participate instantly. Things will be more precise and placed well. This will look good for the overall forum. Contest and prediction are good things but I must say there must be no gambling or bets in that section, as this will create a negative vibe.

Yes, I agree with you. For the fact that we have different sports games and activities, I believe it will be useful to have a sports section for discussion of only sports activities, contests, predictions, etc. What I think is that this section could just be added as a sub-board in the gambling section.

It seems good to create a "Sports" subforum because that forum currently doesn't exist on the altcoinstalks forum.
There are also subforums that support gambling and betting, but as another member said, "there are definitely all members who don't gamble."

Where I live there are also lots of advisors in sports and the one I like the most is the YouTube channel from coach Justin Lhaksana.
This YouTube channel continues to educate and provide information about football throughout the world and other sports such as badminton, tennis, basketball etc. do not exist because coach Justin Lhaksana. only provides information about football.

Even though Coach Justin Lhaksana. is somewhat controversial, I see the positive side of a person who creates works with better information on YouTube social media to provide statements about football.
Yeps, there are definitely pluses and minuses to human beings and I appreciate what Coach Justin Lhaksana. does and I take the positives regarding Coach Justin Lhaksana. knowledge of football.

There is a thread for discussing gambling or sports, but basically gambling requires a trusted website. Campaigns require a qualified member to create a topic for the campaign. The only thing lacking is a website for gambling.

As theree are many important actors in the ecosystem with sports related vision, such as sports.bet, I think it would he useful.

A new section like this could even make those companies participate more in the forum

I was thinking more of a section called sports discussion, it could be a sub board of gambling I suppose since there are so many prediction leagues. Would keep users motivated to post as well since managers would still count the posts towards a gambling quota for the week.

You are a manager with experience and if you think this would be good for altcoinstalk forum and its members than you should talk with admin and ask him to make this changes.
I dont think it can hurt and he can always close it if there is no big activity and improvement.
