Mixed bitcoin should first be received on one's personal wallet, and after some time, the person can then send the bitcoin to the exchange wallet address, there won't be any issue of tainted coins .
That's actually a good suggestion and I highly agree with you. I believe it's way better to receive Bitcoin first at one's own personal wallet than receiving it at an exchange's wallet. That way a person won't face any such issues, however if I'm not wrong, the mixed coins from Thormixer are mixed in a way that if they were deposited directly into someone's exchange's wallet then that won't cause any issues, but of course it's always better to use personal wallet for the task.
As a significant number of users send Bitcoin directly to the mixer, they obviously have no idea why it is a bad choice. Perhaps Thormixer (and other mixers of course) could give a short notice on the site that it is not recommended to send directly from the mixer to the exchange wallet.

Only one hop between mix and CEX is certainly better than a direct transaction - but this raises the question of how thorough CEX is in the analysis of transactions, because even if you send to your wallet, and then on CEX, it is very easy to view the transaction history.

I would recommend a few hops, but considering that you have to pay a fee each time, sometimes it can be quite expensive.

They probably want to save on transaction fees by doing this, but it is never a good idea to do that and it could cost much more.
I heard some exchanges even frozen account with coins coming directly from cryptocurrency casinos, but exchanges should always be blamed for doing that.
It is very rear to hear that sending from one exchange to different exchange is causing problems like I mentioned.

Some of the exchanges have a strict rule that they do not accept coins from the mixer. Whichever method they use, there is always a greater risk if they are sent directly from the mixer to the exchange account.
Regardless of what we think about AML procedures, whether we consider them correct or not, the end result is important. Frozen coins and probably later seized means a loss for the user himself, and this will not change his attitude regarding the AML policy. Blaming anyone doesn't bring much satisfaction if someone has lost their money.
That is why it is desirable to minimize the risk of freezing funds by exchange, casino or any service.

That's a useful advice I believe, but I don't think that Thormixer or any other mixer would do something like that because they claim to give high privacy to the coins and if the coins can get deposited to an exchange's hot wallet directly without any issues then it's a sure sign that the coins come from a safe source and aren't tainted ones. However, users who mix coins should use their personal wallets to receive the mixed coins as that's a little more safe then receiving it directly from a mixer to an exchange wallet.

Yeah but ignoring and continuing to use exchanges like this is showing your support for actions like that, and it's making things worse for everyone.

I dont think that is so stupid.. I have never done that.. but sending for your wallet may not be enough.

How many hops (transactions) do you need before sending to an exchange?
Probably 1 is not enough if it came from a sanctioned address. Or a blacklist address list from the exchange

So sending to your wallet and then to the exchange wouldn't be enough. You might need to do a few more hops if you believe the exchange will create problems with your funds that came from a mixer

It should be enough if you received coins from Thormixer and other Jambler services.
However, I don't trust any centralized exchanges and I would always recommend using decentralized no-kyc exchanges and you won't have the headache.
No centralized exchange = no problem.

No centralized exchange = no problem.

You can also add
No centralized exchange = no fiat.

I need fiat to pay my bills, unfortunately.  I cannot buy an airline ticket or a restaurant with USDT, or a KYC-free bitcoin card (AFAIK)

No centralized exchange = no fiat.

I need fiat to pay my bills, unfortunately.  I cannot buy an airline ticket or a restaurant with USDT, or a KYC-free bitcoin card (AFAIK)

There are virtual no-KYC cards that can be bought for crypto and added to digital wallets that can then be used to pay through POS devices or even in some places online. For example, I can pay all my bills directly with crypto through one domestic payment processor, or even at various physical places where bills can be paid (post offices, gas stations, newspaper kiosks, etc.) using virtual cards.

However, in the end, everything depends on where you live and what possibilities you have when it comes to cryptocurrencies.

Yeah, this looks interesting.

However, such solutions doesn't exist in Brazil, or they are not very reliable because I know a lot of people here that knows about crypto and nobody uses something similar..

That is an important point. I know most Western countries have already become cashless, and they use cards almost everywhere. But  3rd world countries like mine have a long way to go. I have to wait another decade to use cards everywhere. Not all of us like centralized exchanges, yet most of us had to use centralized exchanges because we have to use it.

I didn't know the bad side of Centralized exchanges before I joined my forum journey. I was happily using Coinbase and Binance back then. I still use Binance to sell my USDT. But, I wish I have more options so I can stop using centralized exchanges.

I dont think that is so stupid.. I have never done that.. but sending for your wallet may not be enough.
It should be enough if you received coins from Thormixer and other Jambler services.
However, I don't trust any centralized exchanges and I would always recommend using decentralized no-kyc exchanges and you won't have the headache.
No centralized exchange = no problem.

I have not seen any reasons not to trust Centralized exchanges especially during withdrawal/transfers operations, may be because i am yet to experience any issues. I have considered Centralized exchange as the best for sending Bitcoin, though not familiar with decentralized exchanges, but i think any problem on CEX exchanges depends on the level of the Centralized exchange's reputations. I have been using notable Cex exchanges with great experiences, the likes of Binance, Gate, Bybit and Kucoin are better than many Dex exchanges out there.

Perhaps this is an opportunity you could take advantage of, and considering that you already have some experience with some online projects, such a business venture in a country where nothing similar exists could be a great success - of course, if such a thing were possible considering the laws.

@Learn Bitcoin, having a choice is a great privilege today, especially when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Some people can't do anything with them except sell them via CEX or DEX, others like me can use them directly (albeit through payment processors) to buy practically anything you can imagine.

You have no choice but to wait for something to change, or to be one of those who will initiate change.
