Russia has a control freak government and they know that fully allowing cryptocurrency in their economy can mean sharing that control with their own people so we could not expect that soon Russia will be opening market access that easily. However, in my view, eventually this country might be adopting a very strict regulatory framework for cryptocurrency when they see it as a big opportunity to get ahead of other countries most especially with the USA and China. As for now, let's allow the government to take a back seat.
